Happy new year! Long time no post! Apologies, its been all go at Wolfsbane Hq! Had lots of calls today about batteries: if your car has been stood over christmas and lots of small journeys, the cold zaps car batteries! Just be mindful when heading back to work! We are here if you need us, but we do get booked up, so call us in advance if you have a concern/ issue: best to catch things early than leave it too late and cause more extensive damage! I have found this year over the kids holidays more calls are wanting last minuite repair or the car has let them down before they go away

I am just one man and unfortunately cant always come straight out as I am on a job or have other things booked in

If you're going away and think there could be an issue with your vehicle give me a call in advance and I can book you in to check it over.

PLEASE do NOT put warm water on a frozen windscreen! Use an ice scraper, or cover the sreen the night before!! If It has been snowing, it is the law to clear snow from the roof of your vehicle: if you brake, it can slide down the windscreen and block your view, OR fly off and hit the vehicle behind! If it's icy and you struggle to set off after stopping/ being parked up, pop in 2nd gear and use the clutch to help you get out of the situation! We all need special 4 wheel drive like Turbo!! Stay safe out there!

Just a few things we have come across the past few days: PLEASE do NOT put warm water on a frozen windscreen: use an ice scraper!! Been a little quiet recently: unfortunately it's been a trying few months! We are your local friendly mobile mechanic since 2009, and can do a wide variety of jobs!
Give us a howl if you need any help with your car.....remember, if you leave a problem, it will only get worse, and cost a lot more, so fix those issues as soon as possible!
Check your levels regularly: (oil, water, coolant and screenwash etc) and make sure tyre pressures are correct!
(Please no we are unable to work on electric/hybrid vehicles!)
