E-Type UK specialises exclusively in Jaguar E-Types.

Every project is inspection-led, from restorations and usability upgrades to bespoke Unleashed builds—engineered with precision, transparency and respect for originality. E-Type UK is a specialist workshop dedicated exclusively to Jaguar E-Types, based in our purpose-built facility in Kent. We deliver inspection-led restorations, usability upgrades, bespoke builds and our Unleashed commission programme, focused on engineering excellence and long-term ownership. Every project begins with a detailed technical inspection and an open discussion about how the car is used and what the client wishes to achieve. From there, we define a structured scope and plan—whether that is preserving originality through restoration, improving drivability through sympathetic upgrades, or commissioning a fully bespoke Unleashed build. Our restoration work covers all Series and specifications, from early flat-floor cars through to late Series 3 V12 models. We also design and implement drivetrain, braking, suspension, cooling and electrical upgrades to improve reliability and real-world usability while respecting the character of the E-Type. For clients seeking a fully re-engineered interpretation, our Unleashed programme and bespoke builds deliver ground-up projects tailored to individual requirements, combining modern performance and comfort with period-correct aesthetics. We are recognised within the E-Type community for our engineering-led approach, transparency and technical expertise. Clients are encouraged to visit our facility to review progress throughout each project, and every completed car is road tested and inspected prior to handover to ensure confidence and long-term enjoyment.
