A happy ending to a rather frustrating few months for Patricia!

Patricia has been a Thame Cars customer for many years, but after an accident, getting everything sorted and getting her back on the road wasn’t quite as straightforward as anyone would have liked.

We got there in the end though, and she recently collected her new car. 🙌

Thame Cars has been shortlisted in three categories at this year's Motor Trader Industry Awards! 🙌

Both areas of the business have been recognised. Our service and aftersales team are shortlisted in the Aftersales Excellence category and the sales team are up for Used Car Retailer of the Year (0-50 cars). That's pretty special!

As soon the camera comes out, everyone suddenly has something urgent they need to go and do!

But marketing has a new tactic - don't warn them! And the result was we got some great new team shots. Here are a few behind the scenes in advance of the professional photos. 📸

Meet the pollen filter. One of those unglamorous little parts of your car that you probably never think about.

Its job is to trap pollen, dust and other airborne particles before they make their way through your car’s heating and air conditioning system and into the cabin.
Which is particularly useful if you suffer from hay fever or asthma. 🤧

Trouble is, filters don't last forever.

This one came out of a car in our workshop and, as you can probably tell, it hadn’t been changed for quite some time. It was absolutely clogged with dust, dirt and debris.

A blocked pollen filter can restrict airflow and make your heating and air conditioning system work harder than it needs to.

It’s a small, relatively inexpensive part. But another good example of why regular servicing matters – it’s often the things you can’t see that need a little attention.

And yes, we replaced this one. 😂

Hatchback or SUV? Why choose? 🤷‍♂️
