⚠️ Another Ford EcoBoost wet belt replacement completed.
These photos show why it’s important not to delay this job. The old belt had begun to break down, with debris collecting in the oil pickup strainer. If left unchecked, this can restrict oil flow and lead to serious, expensive engine damage.
We removed and inspected the sump and oil pickup, fitted a new wet belt kit, and completed the job properly.

🔧 Ford EcoBoost Wet Belt Replacement Completed 🔧

Another Ford EcoBoost back on the road after a full wet belt replacement.
The photos show exactly why these engines shouldn't be ignored when they reach their wet belt service interval.
As the belt deteriorates, rubber particles can break away and contaminate the engine oil, eventually blocking the oil pick-up strainer. This can lead to low oil pressure and, in the worst cases, catastrophic engine failure.
