RAIN, GRIT, A NASTY SURPRISE IN THE TREAD... MATT'S REAL-WORLD REVIEW OF THE EUROGRIP TRAILHOUND WILD

Our own Matt has been putting the Eurogrip TrailHound Wild through its paces on his Triumph Tiger 800 – and it's fair to say he's a bit obsessed.

From a torrential first ride home through fresh roadworks grit, to two-up touring, an off-road camping trip, and a full day tackling the ABR Festival trail (against riders on far more aggressive 50/50 tyres) — these 70/30 adventure tyres have been properly tested.

Oh, and there was also a very tense moment involving something sharp lodged in the tread.. Did it end in a puncture? You'll have to read on to find out...
