Capture Motorsport Tamworth based Motorsport team, competing in TCR UK, Britcar and Club Enduro.

We also offer track day support, 4 wheel alignment, set ups, race car builds along with basic road car maintenance. Whether it’s our car or yours, our dedicated workshop is fully equipped for general maintenance, race car preparation, alignments, gearbox work and engine work (basically, anything that you need to ensure that you’re back on the road, or track!)
We offer our clients arrive and drive packages in our own vehicles or provide the necessary support for drivers with their own vehicles who simply require our knowledge and experience track side or preparing their car in our workshop throughout the year, for either track days, test days race events or the road

We've had some American muscle in recently! 🦅🇺🇸

Cam's Corvette had been in for a twin plate clutch upgrade, ligtened flywheel, custom seat frame and bucket seat upgrade, android head unit, wheel spacers, short shifter and exhaust alignment.

Boasting a straight piped 7L LS7 V8, this car is loud! I'm sure we will be able to hear it when Cam drives it around Europe later this year!

We can't wait to see it back for some more tasty upgrades soon!!

The team head to Silverstone next week for the Britcar Endurance Championship, which has previously been a happy hunting ground.

Last year Darren Ball had an excellent win at the famous track in the Gen 1 Cupra, the first of several wins for Darren last year which saw him at the front of the trophy class championship.

This year the team continuing their fight for the championship with Greg Saunders, hoping to add to the trophy cabinet driving the Gen 2 Cupra!

Part 4 of our meet the team series

Oliver is one of our top mechanics. Along with being a mechanic, he is also a driver which brings a weath of knowledge and understanding to the team. After starting his career in karting, progressing through saloon and GT racing, competed in TCR UK, Oliver then moved into Porsche sprint racing, where he has achieved podium success.

Oliver is focused on continuing his development and progressing towards a successful career in professional motorsport, both behind the wheel and on the tools. Oliver brings a unique ability to understand what a driver needs and feels, and can directly apply that to set up changes and driver coaching.

Part 3 of meet the team behind Capture Motorsport

Joe arrived with us at the end of 2024 as a data/systems engineer for our TCR & Britcar program, since then he’s grown into a integral part of operations as a race engineer for our TCR, Britcar & 750 operations.

Alongside this Joe is currently working freelance in the UK & Europe with a number of teams most notably with the Ford Mustang GT4 allowing himself to develop and bring some European endurance knowledge to the team.

Joe brings passion, enthusiasm and professionalism whilst helping turn driver feedback and set up changes into results on the track

Fuel pump servicing and rebuilds for VAG platform TCR and road cars!

Capture Motorsport are pleased to share we are now offering VAG based TCR car fuel pump services. These pumps are commonly found in Cupras, Audis and VWs that are both Gen 1, 2 and 3.

We offer a wide range of fuel pump servicing including but not limited to :

⚫️ Inspections

⚫️ Diagnostic/fault finding

⚫️ Fuel pump replacement

⚫️ Fuel pipe replacement

⚫️ Fuel sock replacement

⚫️ Complete tank inspection and rebuild

As we know, these fuel pumps are a weak spot in the VAG cars despite how expensive they are new. Keeping them well maintained is essential to their performance. If the fuel pumps are not maintained correctly, this can cause poor running and fuel starvation that damages the high pressure pump, injectors and in the worst cases, the engine.

Part 2 of meet the team being Capture Motorsport -

As the racing team manager, Ryan brings a wealth of experience maintaining race cars, along with managing personnel and race strategy (and the odd sh!tfight repairs). Ryan has worked in motorsport since the age of 15, working in some of the top UK championships such as Britcar Endurance Championship, BTCC, TCR, VW cup along with some F1 Masters series in the UK and abroad.

After working with Leon in various championships for over 10 years, he made the jump to join Leon in running Capture Motorsport in 2024. Since then they have enjoyed many podiums, race wins and championships together.

Ryan's dedication, passion, knowledge and quick thinking brings another dynamic to Capture Motorsports past and future success. Ryan enjoys working with team members, drivers and engineers to get the maximum potential out of the car and the driver.
