Lets put the Myths to bed...

You'll fail your Test for this and that reason. 👌👌👌
I call it Scare mongering.!!!.

Your mate was unsuccessful because they didn't do this etc.
But the your mate was successful and it was because of this etc...

All bu****it!!

Only one way to Upgrade your Licence.
Drive your Examiner with great safe Confident driving. Reverse your Vehicle under full Clutch control and constantly check around and behind you.
React as soon as you see the hazard.

Show them you are SAFE!!
That's how to upgrade...

Its a myth that if you..
Wear dangly earrings they know you are checking mirrors... they are already watching you.

Stall the Car. So what, they allow for nerves.
But continously stall that's the 'Unsuccessful'..

My Mate told me id be unsuccessful if I went off route as that's how they failed...
Its balls your mate failed because they went off route without staying safe...

My mate told me they only Pass so many in a day.

Again all Balls, if you drive them safely under full control they will Pass you

A Driving Examiner honestly wants you to pass, it is all down to you, how you drive them and allow them to see that you see the hazard and react to it safely.

Friends as much as we love them, will load their faults onto you or try and tell you its how they dressed as to whether you'll Pass or not.🫣🫣🫣
No.... its how 'YOU' drive them that Counts.

So anyone that learns with us here at LWP will tell you this is how we roll.
We listen to you, get you to set your goals and then work you through those goals.

We work to your learning needs and allow you to find the real you. 👌👌👌

But what we love the most is you being totally honest with us. 👌👌👌

For example today Legend achieved her set goals, then i upped the goal and got her to drive me through Swaffham on Market day on her 2nd Lesson.
I asked her how she was feeling?
She looked at me and said 'I hate you right now Pete' 🤣🤣🤣

When she got me back to her house, I said, do you still hate me? 🤣🤣🤣

Her answer, of course not, I loved it. 🤗🤗🤗

Big changes are coming to LWP Driving Tuition…
Over the last 3 months we have been overhauling the way we teach and how to promote that ‘Upgrade’ for all of our Legends.
👌👌👌

We never sit on our Laurels and constantly learn from each Legends experience. 👌👌👌👌

From May 2026 all Tests will now be booked in at Kings Lynn Test Centre.
LWP from that date will no longer offer Tests in Norwich. 👌👌👌

They say, stick to what you know, teach the area you know best, so this is the reason.
All my Dereham based Students will be directed to Kings Lynn Test Centre.

Reason for this is that Peachman Way Norwich over the last 2 Months have become a real hit and miss for LWP yet, Kings Lynn has always remained constant.

We are also going back to Legend Folders for driving lesson records, as little did we know no one properly uses our digital diary on lessons, it has fast become a notification of lesson only. 🫣🫣🫣🫣

This Year sees LWP with 38Years of driving experience and by concentrating on Kings Lynn all our Legends will gain those Years and go to Test hopefully stress free. 👌👌👌

LWP are also changing their requirements for any Students Test day booked.
We have enlisted the help of other top of the shop Driving Instructors to take our Legends on ‘Mock Tests’.
This is as real as we can get it, pass with them and we have a 99.9% of getting that upgrade. Get an unsuccessful with them and together we will plan ahead.

The biggest reason for getting an Unsuccessful Result on your Driving Test with the DVSA, is Junctions Observations.
🫣🫣🫣🫣

What they Don't tell you is the reason for this is 'YOUR NERVES'...
That's the Real Number 1 Reason.
🫣🫣🫣🫣

When we are 'Nervous' our Brain goes into 'Get out of here mode' .
This mode makes us take Risks we would not normally do.
I call it 'Crossing the Road'...

Normally we would only cross once we know it's safe, as we are not under pressure.

On a Driving Test, the Pressure unless you control your Nerves, will make you pull out to danger. 🫣🫣🫣

Only when you accept how you react to Pressure will you ever be ready to take Your Driving Test!!!

Everyday I hear, this is making me Nervous...
My answer.... until you overcome that nerve with me in the Car with you, will you be ready to Drive the Test, let alone by yourself.

Allow me to put a Myth right.
So a Student feels ready to go to Test.
I as the Instructor say... your not ready...

Student says, well ill give it ago and if I fail, I'll learn from it...

I then say... No...

Reason is this...
My DVSA LICENCE ALSO TAKES THAT STUDENTS TEST!!! IF THEY FAIL... SO DO I.

Trust your INSTRUCTOR!!

2 LICENCES GO TO TEST.. NOT 1.

YOU PASS WE PASS, YOU FAIL WE FAIL.
