1641 twin port going together for an early 70’s Beetle.
Align bored case, reground crank, rods rebuilt and balanced. New cam, followers and oil pump. All parts and machining souced from Stateside tuning (as with all engines I build). Just need to sort the heads out so I can finish the job

A pair of rear outer sill/ lower rear quarter sections made up for the type 34 karmann ghia (razor edge)

Rebuilding rear arches (inner and outer) on an imported crossover bay. It’s a really nice Westfalia, but the rust gets them eventually! The arches had already been repaired when the vehicle was imported/repainted, but not terribly well...
This time both inner and outer arch were cut away to remove all traces of rot. Then a repair section seam welded (edge to edge) into place. The repair was painted inside and out with a galvanizing epoxy paint, along with the repair section for the inner arch. The inner section was then fitted using an epoxy panel bonding adhesive and spot welded. On completion the whole repair was again epoxy primes, then injected with wax oil.

Another big chassis rebuild...
Part way through and both middle sections of chassis rail have been replaced along with three floor supports, all outriggers and jacking points, middle sills, inner sills, cross-members and heater tube. Next we drop the axle and get into the less straight forward front chassis sections
