🚘 Get your vehicle winter ready! 🚘
Here are just some of the basics to be mindful of;
🛞 - Check your tyre pressures, tread and overall condition. Ensure the correct PSI range is used for your vehicle, as cold weather can cause pressure to drop significantly. Cold weather and icy roads can reduce grip and cause punctures should they not be accurate.
❄️ - Always check your screen wash levels and make sure it's formulated for low temperatures, as frozen or insufficient washer fluid can decrease visibility in the winter months.
🌨️ - Inspect your windscreen wipers for any signs of wear and ensure they are functioning properly. Heavy rain, snow, and ice can quickly reduce longevity of these.
🚨- Make sure to check all your lights (headlights, brake lights, indicators etc) are working correctly. Visibility can be reduced for the reason of a dull bulb or dirty lens.
⚠️- Before winter sets in, it's crucial to check your brakes for wear and tear to ensure they’re in top condition. Icy, greasy and wet conditions demand optimal braking performance for a safe journey.
