Attention paddock!!!

The next round of NG at donington is just around the corner!!

We are urging all competitors who will require tyres for donington to please give us a shout and pre order.

We have experienced a shortage of tyres over the last couple of weeks across different brands so to avoid disappointment get your orders in early!

Pre ordering your tyres will save any disappointment on what set to be one of the busiest meetings of the season. The deadline for pre orders is this Friday at midday!

Yesterday was Day 2 of the action at Thruxton

A late start to the day with the local church break.

Phoenix Open Race 2

Tyson started from P5, throughout the race he was up with the lead contenders and came home in P4 with a best race lap of 1.20.301

Race 3
Started from P4 was up there battling for the lead very close at times eventually finishing in P2.

Best lap was a 1.19.722

Powerbikes

Race 2
Tyson started from Fifth on the grid and made his way up to finish 3rd place with a best lap of 1.19.371

Race 3 didn't take place due to a late red flag

Next we move on to the penultimate round at Donington Park

This weekend is we are at Thruxton for rounds 16,17 & 18.

We only have Tyson Racing this weekend

Phoenix Open

Tyson qualified in P10 with a lap of 1.21.331

Race one, he was in a good battle up front & went on to finish in P5. Best race lap was a 1.21.145

Powerbikes

Qualified in P3 with a lap of 1.20.306

Race one, again in the mix all race with his rivals. Finishing in P5 best lap was a 1.20.665

A decent first day for Tyson, we now look forward to tomorrows races

NG road racing thruxton!!

Dan cooper motorsport are now planning for the upcoming NG meeting at thruxton.

As most people will probably know, due to the high speed nature of this circuit, tyre wear will be higher than usual.

Taking this in to consideration, we are expecting riders will be requiring more tyres than previous rounds/circuits.

With DCM also attending the classic TT aswell as thruxton we are urging riders to pre order/pay for their tyres as soon as possible to avoid dissapointment.

The cut off for this will be next Thursday 13th August. Any orders placed after this date will be accommodated as best as possible but there is no guarantee it will be fulfilled.

Day 2 ✅

In today's event Joseph had 2 races, George 3 & Tyson 4 so a busy one for the riders & Team.

Joseph
UK Junior series
Race 2 unfortunately Joseph was disqualified for Technical infringement.

Race 3
He made a good start from P4 from P1 on he was in a good battle throughout the race. He finished first in the Class. A perfect way to finish the weekend after the disappointment of the second race

George,
First race of the day was the Phoenix Open "King of Combe race 2.He started from Pole, he made a fantastic start and soon built up a commanding lead. Unfortunately the race was red flagged with three laps to go. His best race lap his best lap was a 1.08.873

Powerbikes
Race 1 again started from Pole, again dominated the race he finished in P1 his best lap was a 1.09.645.

Phoenix open" Kings of Combe.
George once again started from pole and as before built up a good lead and wasn't troubled so went on to win the race & Claim the King of Combe honours. Certainly a strong weekend back for George.

Tyson
Race 2 Phoenix open "King of Combe Tyson started from P5 unfortunately the race was red flagged early Tyson was in P4 his fastest lap was a 1.11.317

Powerbikes Race 2 he started from P3 on the grid he had a race long battle and finished up in P2 with a best lap of a 1.10.947.

Phoenix Open"King of Combe he start P4 and maintained the position throughout the race. His best lap time was a 1.10.567

Powerbikes Race 3
Tyson started from P2 but with George not taking part in the race it elevated him to Pole. A good end to the weekend for Tyson with a win. His best lap was a 1.11.097.

Overall a great weekend for the riders and the team.

Next round is Thruxton

Day 1 ✅

This weekend we are racing at the Castle Combe track. We not only welcome back Tyson but also George is joining us this weekend

Joseph qualified in P3 in the UK Junior Series his best lap was a 1.25.283.

Race one despite a steady race he didn't give up and made a great pass to get P3 on the last lap. Best race lap was a 1.25.440.

Tyson

Phoenix Open incorporating "King of Combe"
Qualifying he was in fourth with a time of 1.11.015

Powerbike Qualifying
Tyson had a best lap of 1.11.126 which put him into P2

Phoenix Open "King of Combe"
He finished the race in P5 his best race lap was a 1.11.809.

Powerbike
Kept himself in the top 3 all race where he finished with a best lap of a 1.11.733

George
Phoenix open " King of Combe"
George was on Pole with a lap of 1.09.340

Powerbikes
Again Pole Position best lap 1.09.339 nearly an identical time to his previous qualifying session

Phoenix Open Race "King of Combe"
From the start he got away into second but soon made his way to the front and went on to win the race. Best lap was a 1.09.432

Pretty much same again from the start was second and passed his rival on the first lap and went onto win with a good margin over second place his best race lap was a 1.09.695.

Even the boss made it onto the track in one of the race weekend parades.
