BMW F80 M3 Misfire Fix 💥

Having been let down by various other garages for a misfire issue under load, the owner was told a variety of different causes without actually looking at the car, from poor fuel quality (always ran on 99), the vehicles custom tune (been faultless for 5+ years) & host of other reasons.

Whilst carrying investigation work we noticed a few issues, original aged coil packs, also the ignition harness had copper wire showing on some of the wires for the fuel injectors. 6 new Bosch coil packs & NGK spark plugs gapped to suit. Replacement ignition harness fitted, mis fires completely cured & pulling strong flawlessly to the limiter 📈

Beautiful individual F80 M3 with us for our S55 valve stem seal replacement service & carbon ceramic 2NK retro fit 🤌🏼

Genuine 25k miles on this F80! Suffering from hardened valve stem seals being a 9 year old car, the odd puff of smoke occasionally the customer decided now was the time to get it done with a list of other jobs.

2NK carbon ceramic brake upgrade including brake booster, all coded in correctly & ABS pump bleed procedure carried out 👌🏼

Genuine BMW 5w30 engine oil service, auxiliary drive belts, TU subframe bolts, finished off with a fresh set of Niterra UK Ltd spark plugs. BMW AOS portal & idrive service history updated via the BMW key reader 🔑 🛜

All works carried out with the correct tooling & torque procedures as per BMW ISTA repair procedures, for a fully professional repair start to finish 🔧

BMW X3M with us for differential rear bolt upgrade 🔩

A common failure point on the X3M & X4M, as the differential tilts & shifts during hard launches, severe torque load is placed onto the main mounting bolt, eventually causing it to bend, snap, or completely shear off. This is due to the poor design of a soft aluminium sleeve in the centre of the OEM bush.

This is removed and replaced with a kit from including a hardened steel sleeve, high tensile bolt & a poly bush insert to help aid flex of the oem bush but retain as much comfort as possible giving next to no NVH.
