As the demand for MoT's has doubled due to the Covid 19 MoT extensions expiring, we've had pull poor old Tony P out of retirement to help with our heavy workload! 👴

You can help us out too, where possible, by booking your MoT test appointment well in advance. ☎️ 01702 342563

MoT expiry dates can be quickly checked at the following link

Also, an MoT can be carried out up to one calendar month prior to the expiry date of your existing MOT certificate, while still preserving the anniversary of the expiry date. So you don't have to wait until its imminent expiry before booking it in 👍

If you are isolating, or sheilding and need help with getting your vehicle to the garage for its test, let us know and we will do our best to help.

Afternoon all, hope you're all keeping well and managing to dodge Covid - we're still following all our hygiene/distance procedures to keep everyone safe!

We have been extremely busy with MoT's recently, with the end of the 6 MoT month extensions, and have been working long hours to keep our customers on the road.

This week a new client brought us an unusual car to MoT. Check out this Cobra replica, in for its very first MoT with just 10 miles on the clock.

He's spent the last 5 years building it and what an amazing job he has done! All completed to an exceptionally high standard.

The car passed its MoT with flying colours and is a credit to its owners skill and dedication.

Just to let you all know that the 6-month automatic MoT extensions will be ending on 1st August.

Today, 29 June, the Department for Transport announced that the 6-month MOT exemption for cars, vans and motorcycles introduced during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, will end on 1 August.

We are open as normal so please don't hesitate to contact us for any further information or to book an appointment.

INSURANCE COVER during your vehicles 6 month MoT extension;

Please do ensure to keep your vehicle in roadworthy condition during its automatic MoT extension. Failure to do so may invalidate your insurance cover in the event of a claim and could leave you facing a fine of up to £2500 and 3 penalty points.

Whilst we all want to keep safe from Covid 19 and follow public health guidance, we also want our roads to be safe from dangerous vehicles and their potential consequences.

Check out the images for how to do basic safety checks. But if you are still unsure, or you think your vehicle has a problem that needs looking into further, or are self isolating and need help with your vehicle, please get in touch.

We are open Monday to Saturday and are following strict social distancing and vehicle hygiene procedures, so we can keep your vehicle safe to drive for your essential travel needs. And if you wish to have your vehicle MoT tested whilst it is in with us for repair we are still able to do this for you.

We're open Monday to Friday at the moment, so please do call 01702 342563 as usual to book in.

We'd ask that you maintain social distancing practices whilst on the premises and we've popped some posters up to remind everyone 🙂

On arrival please wait outside the entrance to the workshop, or come to the MOT viewing area/office on the left to wait.

You'll find hand wipes available in the office if you need them. We will be continuing to clean key fobs and all relevant areas of your vehicle before and after we have worked on it.
