From motorhome to Campal, and not looking back.

Mia and Dudley collected their custom-made Campal for their Toyota Hilux ahead of a year-long adventure across Europe and Asia.

They asked for an interchangeable box system so they could switch the setup depending on the day:

A sheltered sit-inside layout
A dedicated cooking setup
A comfortable double bed for nights on the road

This is exactly what "made to order" is all about: building a Campal around how you travel, not the other way round.

Now, nearly three months in, the kit has been properly tested. Questionable "roads," rough 4x4 tracks, proper off-roading... and it's still holding strong.

In their words:

"We are almost 3 months into our roadtrip with some proper offloading and we are loving the Campal kit. It's been put through its paces with lots of questionable 'roads' and 4x4 tracks, and has held up super well. Just wanted to say a big thank you for the kit, we know it was a unique project!"

Ian came to collect his Campal Estate for his Mitsubishi Delica, kitted out with a few extra touches to match his exact setup.

Alongside the Estate, we made bespoke cushions for his roof tent to match his Campal box cushions, plus custom thermal window blinds, made while he waited.

A look at what's included:

- Bespoke roof tent cushions (yes, we make these too!)
- Custom thermal window blinds
- Fold-up cushions for easy access to storage and extra shelf space when cooking
- Smart storage throughout
- A kitchen drawer with dedicated space for gas and accessories

It's a great example of how far our bespoke service can go: from the box itself, right down to the cushions and blinds that finish it off.
