Nardo Grey ///M4 in for DME Unlock 🔓 service

We used our Autotuner tool to carry out the unlock, after the Bench tool was plugged in, directly to the ECU.

We can offer this service for most BMW's including post 2021 models which previously required the DME to be shipped off.

G82 ///M4 in for some pre track days prep!

With Nurburgring and Spa in the coming days we carried out a few maintenance tasks on this ex Palmer Motorsport track car.

Some of the items were long overdue also!

🔹Oil / Filter change with Millers CFS Nanodrive oil
🔹RBF660 Brake fluid change
🔹Correct NGK Spark plugs replacement

A few issues were noticed and reported back, with plans to resolve once we have more time.

730HP S58 powered ///M2 Competition WGM STG2.

This G87 put down some fantastic numbers after having our full Stage 2 tuning 📦

This returning customer, who previously had his F87 tuned by us took the drive from Portsmouth us to again, but this time in his lovely G87 M2!

We carried out the following work

The final result after we drained out the Asda Super unleaded fuel 🤢 was just over 600HP 💥

The second graph shows the difference between a poor quality fuel and Shell V power. Over 25HP gained.

Tyres! Well, semi slick tyres.

With a load bearing eddy current Dyno, such as our Dyno Dynamics Dyno tech, running sticky tyres such as racing wets, slicks are a major no no, but so are semi slicks.

The grippy tyres create losses from friction even from the first run, and some will continue to drop power with every run due to heat and the compound becoming more tacky. However this is not true for all Semi slicks. Either way it makes back to back changes harder to gauge.

We have a set of Dyno wheels we use for tuning on track based cars for this very reason. However for this Stage 1+ M2 Competition that we fitted an OPF section and tune we thought you'd just test on the Yokohama AD09 semi slicks on.

The car produced 510HP 525LBFT, which was a little low for the expected output, given how the car was logging.

A quick swap to a set of PS4S road tyres saw the power jump up to a decent 545HP with 535LBFT.

No map changes were made, this was tyres swap only. (Green to Red graph)
