It’s been a very Transporter-filled week!

Alongside our usual servicing and maintenance work, we’ve also been carrying out some great upgrades. This week, we had the pleasure of installing a tasty big Brembo brake kit, colour coded to the exterior accents on one of our client’s T6s, while another received satin black side bars and mud guards.

It’s great to see our customer Lorraine and her family make the trip out to Chimay, Belgium for European Bug-in in their Split Screen. 🤙☀️

Before Lorraine first visited us over a year ago, she’d lost confidence in her Split Screen after a breakdown. She entrusted us with a thorough appraisal, followed by a programme of work to get it back on the road and running as it should. Since then, we’ve only needed to carry out routine servicing and a pre-season checkover. Nothing more than straightforward maintenance after completing a long list of jobs during that initial visit.

Now just look at them heading off to Europe, enjoying their Split Screen exactly as it was meant to be used! 🙌 Thanks for the photos. 📷

Arnie has proudly owned his T2 Bay Window camper since 1983. 🙌

For 43 years, Arnie and his wife have travelled thousands of miles all over Europe and the British Isles in their Bay Window camper, to which they still continue to this day. Their story is a message of encouragement to get out and explore the world in your vintage VW camper. 🗺️

To get them ready for the next chapter of adventures, we carried out a series of jobs including a new exhaust back box, new front brake calipers, electronic ignition upgrade, a new carburettor, a thorough engine service and mechanical checkover.
