Our Pull Type Clutch has high torque capacity, light pedal effort and great release characteristics. Many high performance vehicles use a Pull Type Clutch as OEM in order to take advantage of its inherent advantages. The same advantages also apply to sports performance clutches. Some competitors performance clutches require modifying the release system from a pull type to a push type thus giving up the advantages of a pull type. With the EXEDY patented snap-in / snap-out release bearing system, installation is simple and the advantages of a Pull clutch are retained. All of our pressure plate castings are made from ductile (nodular) iron for your safety. None of our pressure plates are made of grey cast iron as are many stock pressure plates that are rebuilt in to "performance clutches." Beware grey iron castings may explode unlike nodular iron.
