This Mercedes came in with a number of adblue faults. This had triggered the non start countdown. We found that the car needed a new Nox sensor, wiring repair to the adblue pump and an Ecu update. This was all done in house which allowed the countdown to be reset and ready to go back to the owner. -servicing -fault

These CLK 55s are a bit of a rare occurrence these days but we had the opportunity to work on them from time to time.
This 55 needed the rocker cover breathers replacing that unfortunately had a broken bolt in the cover. We explained that the bolt needed to be drilled out and a new coil needed to be fitted. This was all done, cleaned up and resealed. Went back to a very happy customer.

This Mercedes came into us with the rear suspension on the floor when parked up over night.
This issue was very intermittent.
However we found this issue was a pair of rear air bags and had the back on the road the same day.

A word from the wise, if your keys get wet don’t put them in a oven to dry. A hair dryer or a bag of rice is a better option. This was a costly mistake but we as able to gain entry to the car and clone a new set of keys for our customer.

BMW 1 services came in with an intermittent fault when hot…

The customer would do a short journey, turn the car off and when he went to start it again the engine would cut out.

This car had been to a few garages before and no one could fix it. The car came to us and we diagnosed it in under an hour!

The fuel pump relay had gone down causing this issue. There was no relevant fault codes relating to this issue stored in the car. Due to our expert knowledge we know exactly where to start looking for the issue.

Car was back with the customer the next day. Another happy customer

Audi Q7 coolant leak 💦

We traced the coolant leak to be the plastic coolant bridge. A known weak point as the plastic becomes brittle from constant heat cycles. The bridge had cracked, letting coolant escape under pressure. We pressure tested the system and as you can see the coolant was just flowing out!

Replaced with new genuine Audi components and gaskets, we bled the system and pressure tested. The car was back on the road again in a few days.

We had a customer come into us the other day with a vibration when driving between 50-70mph. We got the car up in the air and quickly found the issue…

This tire had a huge bulge in the side wall and had a large split along the tread. Needless to say, this could be lethal if it let go on a motorway. Lucky for him we repaired the wheel and replaced the tyre and he was back in his way.

If you have a vibration at speed? Don’t ignore it! It could be very dangerous.
