🛞 TRAILER TYRES — TREAD ISN’T EVERYTHING!

Your trailer tyres might have plenty of tread left, but that doesn’t necessarily mean they’re safe.

Unlike car tyres, trailer tyres can spend long periods standing still and may deteriorate through age rather than mileage. That’s why it’s important to check more than just the tread.

Keep an eye out for:

✅ Cracking or perishing in the sidewalls
✅ Bulges, cuts or other damage
✅ Uneven tyre wear
✅ Signs of ageing
✅ Incorrect tyre pressures
✅ The tyre’s age/date code

A tyre can look perfectly usable at first glance but still be deteriorating with age.
