🔧 BMW Z4 2.0 PETROL – ANOTHER BIG JOB COMPLETED! 🔧

This BMW Z4 came into R Tuning Portland Ltd with a low oil pressure fault.

After carrying out our initial checks, we found metal particles in the engine oil, so we removed the sump to investigate the cause.

On inspection, we found the balance shaft was out of timing, which had caused severe wear to the shaft and ultimately damaged the oil pump, resulting in the low oil pressure fault.

The repair included:

⚙️ Balance shaft repair
🛢️ New oil pump
⛓️ New timing chain
🔧 Full inspection and repair of the affected components

Another big job completed and the BMW is back on the road! ✅
