How much car do you really need? 💰

Sometimes the best cars aren't the newest or the flashiest. They're the ones that simply do everything well... and save you a fortune in the process.

This 2013 Kia Ceed 1.6 CRDi is a fantastic example. Comfortable, spacious, economical, reliable and packed with equipment, it's everything most families actually need from a car.

What really impressed me was the condition. Yes, it's 13 years old and has covered 114,000 miles, but it's clearly been cared for. It's in better condition than many cars half its age, comes with a full service history, has just had a major service in April, and has passed its latest MOT with no advisories.

Second delivery of the day and another happy customer, this time a 2014 Vauxhall Mokka Automatic.

Finding a good-value automatic at the lower end of the market is one of the toughest sourcing challenges we face. There are plenty available, but finding one that's genuinely worth buying, properly maintained and meets our standards is a very different story.

This lovely Vauxhall Corsa has gone to a very special customer – my cousin's son, who was looking for a great first car. 😊

If your budget stretches to around £4,000, I genuinely think this generation Corsa is one of the best first-car choices out there. It has a chain-driven, reliable petrol engine, sensible running costs, and a surprisingly high level of specification.

This one comes with heated seats, a heated steering wheel, a heated front windscreen, a large touchscreen with DAB radio and satellite navigation and parking sensors; plus it's in exceptional condition throughout. It also has a full service history and, of course, leaves us with a fresh 12-month MOT with no advisories.
