This Volvo C30 came into Bay2 with a noticeable rumbling noise, which was getting louder as the road speed increased.

After inspection, we found the issue was down to worn wheel bearings, so we carried out a replacement of the front and rear wheel bearings.

✅ New quality wheel bearings fitted
✅ Full inspection carried out
✅ Road tested after repair
✅ Rumbling noise gone!

After the road test, it’s now quiet as a mouse 🐭 and back on the road running as it should. 👌

This VW Crafter was in with us for a replacement headlight after the original unit had seen better days.

New headlight fitted and everything checked over to make sure the lighting was working correctly and the vehicle was back on the road safely. 👌

Just a quick update from us we won’t be back in the workshop until Tuesday 2nd September.

Summer has had an operation and, for once, the spanners have had to take a back seat while I take on my temporary roles of house husband, doctor, nurse and general dogsbody! 😂

Best place for me at the minute is at home making sure she’s looked after and gets plenty of rest. ❤️

Normal Bay2 service will resume from Tuesday 2nd September, and I’ll get back to the tools, cars and messages then! 🔧

This Nissan Qashqai came into Bay2 for a set of front brake discs and pads after the customer had previously been quoted over £350 by a local fast-fit centre.

We carried out the same job for less than half of that price, while still using quality replacement parts and carrying out the job to our usual high standard. ✅

🔧 Suzuki Grand Vitara – Radiator Replacement 🔧

This Suzuki Grand Vitara came into Bay2 for a replacement radiator after the original developed a coolant leak. 💧

The old radiator was showing its age, but to be fair, not bad going for a 20-year-old vehicle! 👌

A new radiator has now been fitted and the cooling system checked over to make sure everything is operating as it should. ✅

Another job completed and ready to get back on the road! 🚗💨
