Today it's time to announce the start of a new chapter.

It's with a heavy heart and tear in my eye that I must announce Pukka Powder Coating and Pukka Sandblasting South Wales will be closing its doors.

It's been an amazing journey over the years to build the business too what it has become today. Things really have gone far better than I ever thought they would.
I have met some amazing people along the way, customers yes, but there are a few that I can really say we have become friends and it's been a pleasure to deal with.
The reason for closure isn't because of failure, quite frankly it's the opposite.
Business has been booming for a long time, it's because of this Pukka has literally taken over my life.
Working 12hrs+ a day 7 days a week at times.
Being a father with young children it's time to put them first before I miss them grow up. So the decision has been made and unfortunately Pukka has to go so I can spend time with my family.

I would like to wish all my customers the best and I'm greatful for everyone who has helped the business grow to where it has today

**JOB ADVERT**
We're looking for workshop staff to help with the day to day prepping activities in the workshop.

Experience in the industry painter / powder coater is bonus but not essential. Be honest with your ability and we can provide training. We want passionate staff that want to help us push the boundaries.

All we really ask is that staff are reliable, trustworthy and consistent.

We carry out media Blasting, ceramic coatings and powder coating on a huge range of items, gates, railings, frames, wheels, industrial and commercial items along with domestic customer requirements. Tables, chairs, milk churn, we have done it all even the kitchen sink

Duties will include

Meeting customers where needed
Preparation or items for coating
Media Blasting ( cabinet and blast room)
Wheel removal / Refitting
Tyre removal, fitting and balancing
Use of garage equipment, Jack's, lifts etc
Masking / preparation of items ready for coating.

Must have a good eye for detail, pushing forward the vision that Pukka Powder set out striving to achieve.
Ability to work alone and as part of a team.

Alternating Shift pattern
Week 1
7am - 2.30pm

Week 2
11am - 7pm

Wage will vary depending on age, ability and experience.

Bonus scheme available

Remember, training can be given and those under 24 may be given the chance of an apprenticeship

I must admit though, it's been one of the most difficult items to spray,all tubes and sooo many angles....no powder this time , electric pearl blue wet spray 👌
