Have you got a Golf R, Cupra or S3 fitted with a GPF? If you’re looking to improve the sound and flow without removing the OEM catalytic converter, we’ve got a solution.

We’ve developed our hybrid downpipe, designed specifically for GPF equipped models. These retain the original OEM cat while replacing the restrictive GPF section with a 3 inch replacement pipe.

The result? Better exhaust flow, a slight increase in performance and, most importantly, a much better exhaust note, bringing back the sound you would expect from a pre GPF model.

Because the original road legal catalytic converter remains in place, this setup is more likely to pass an MOT compared with a full decat setup.

A Stage 1 map is required to remove the GPF related fault codes and allow the car to run correctly with the GPF removed.

An intercooler is a crucial piece of the puzzle when it comes to making power from a turbocharged car!

A high-performance intercooler efficiently cools the compressed air coming from your turbocharger before it reaches the intake manifold. Cooling the compressed air increases its density, allowing more oxygen to enter the cylinders. This can help the engine produce more power, while also reducing the risk of knock and helping to maintain consistent performance.

If you’re new to Overkill Performance, you may not know that we love drag racing and drag cars. We’ve got this insane drag car in the workshop for the next two weeks to fabricate a full turbo kit.

We’re going with a compound turbo kit featuring a Precision 6870 and a Precision 88mm Pro Mod. We’re fabricating this turbo kit from titanium making it a lot lighter and therefore improving its performance.

An oil catch can is a great modification for any performance car!

It replaces your car's factory PCV and collects oil vapour and moisture in the catch can, rather than allowing it to be redirected back into your car's intake system.

Installing a catch can help reduce carbon build-up, keeps the intake side of your engine cleaner and, if you have a VAG vehicle, can also help prevent your car from smoking under heavy cornering.

We know these 5.0 V8s fitted to the JLR range sound good, but this one just got even better after one of our custom GPF back valved exhaust systems!

When you're in Dynamic mode, the valves open to increase the volume and improve the tone, but when you want to cruise in Comfort or Eco, they close to keep things refined. It really does give you the best of both worlds!

At the rear, we've removed the huge OEM black box and fairly small tips, replacing them with larger OEM+ style exhaust tips for a much better look. Let us know what you think in the comments!
