Mat’s R35 GTR returned to us for another round of upgrades.

Already running our VOLKOV ST4.25 package, this visit included our latest ECU & TCM calibration updates, a forged transmission gearset, suspension upgrade and a full professional geometry setup.

As our software and hardware continue to evolve through constant development, our existing customers benefit from the latest improvements we’ve engineered and proven.

Alongside the latest calibration, we fitted Linney HD forged gearset to provide increased strength, durability and reliability.

The car also received a suspension upgrade, followed by a complete VOLKOV geometry and wheel alignment using our Hunter Engineering alignment system, ensuring the chassis performs exactly as intended.

This is exactly what a road going track car is built for.

Stewart’s VOLKOV built 1400bhp R35 GTR was driven from the UK to the Nürburgring 🇩🇪, completed two full days on track, then driven all the way back home 🇬🇧

No trailer. No recovery truck. No drama.

Now it’s back at VOLKOV HQ for a proper full service engine oil, transmission and differential service, inspection, health check and geometry adjustment ready for its next adventure.

To make the car as usable as it is fast, it’s equipped with VOLKOV multi-map ECU calibration:

Once, I was that kid.

Standing in the paddock, looking at race cars, dreaming that one day I’d build one of my own.

Today, a young boy came over to our pit. We talked about the 🐅 GTR, he climbed inside, and before he left he smiled and said:

“I’m going to have an R35 GTR when I grow up.”

That one sentence meant more than another trophy.

This is why I do it.

Not just to chase lap records.
Not just to win races.

But to inspire the next generation to dream a little bigger.

Maybe one day he’ll be standing in this paddock with a GTR of his own.

And maybe he’ll remember the day it all started. ❤️🏁🐅
