We came back to Cadwell Park 🇬🇧 and broke our own Club PRO lap record again.

Tiger 🐅 now holds both the Club 4WD and Club PRO lap records at Cadwell Park—the fastest road-tyre R35 GTR lap ever recorded here.

On Yokohama A052 road tyres.

Nissan R35 GTR GR6 proper service is about more than changing the oil.

Both valve bodies—the main valve body and the oil pump valve body—stripped, inspected, tested and cleaned. We then upgrade the sensors and other components where needed.

The valve bodies play a major part in how the GR6 shifts and responds to the driver. Their condition and setup can make a real difference to how the transmission behaves.

With the transmission removed, we also give attention to the other key components:

• Main clutch: We inspect and correctly shim the clutch, whether it remains OEM or is upgraded. Clutch clearance matters, and so does transmission pressure. Seals, O-rings and related components all need to be checked as part of the job.

• ETS front-wheel-drive clutch: We inspect and set its preload to suit how the car is used, whether that’s on the road, at the drag strip or on track.

• Transmission hardware: We inspect the relevant components while the transmission is apart and address anything that needs attention.

We use Dodson Motorsport components in our own Tiger 🐅 GTR and have extensive experience setting them up.

Our work is informed by building and developing a car that has won Time Attack UK titles in 2024/ 2025 and 2026. Those results come from understanding how the R35’s engine, transmission and setup work together—not from guesswork.

Repeat customer Andy back in with his VOLKOV tuned and maintained EBA R35 GTR 🏁

We carried out a full service, including the engine service with correctly gapped spark plugs, transmission service, front and rear differential services, and clutch relay optimisation.

Alex also completed custom Fast Street geometry setup on our Hunter Engineering alignment system tailored to how Andy uses the car on the road.

Great to see this GTR back with us and keep it running as it should 💪🏼

FOUR YEARS LATER. SAME R35. SAME CORE HARDWARE 💪🏼

Mete Mete Aykara was one of our early customers. We first calibrated this R35 GTR in 2022, before we had our own Mainline DynoLog Dynamometers, so it was logged & tuned on the road and the power figures were estimates: up to 675 PS.

The car has been maintained by us and run that calibration for four years. It recently came back for upgraded fuel pumps and filters, a full service and a revision of its ECU and TCM calibrations.
This time we could verify the result on our Mainline hub dyno: 585.8 hp at the hubs. The selected map is shown as 586 WHP / approximately ~690 BHP.

The EcuTek map switching gives Mete three selectable power levels:

• 489 WHP / 575 BHP
• 531 WHP / 625 BHP
• 586 WHP / 690 BHP
• Immobiliser / fuel-cut map

There are also custom inputs for Godzilla Mode, Godzilla Fuel and Transport Mode. The setup lets the driver select the power level and tailor how the car behaves for different uses.

Our calibration work has moved on massively since 2022. We’ve spent years developing boost strategies, power delivery, traction control and ECU/TCM behaviour in real conditions—including competition. Two Time Attack championships and R35 GTR lap records on road tyres at circuits across the UK 🇬🇧 give us a constant feedback loop: we learn what works on track, then apply that knowledge to the cars we tune for customers.

Four years on, this GTR is still delivering. A strong dyno result, backed by the history of the car and the development behind its calibration.

850+ BHP NISMOs just hit harder. 🏁

William Hardy R35 NISMO first came to VOLKOV Motors for our ST4.5 conversion over three years ago. It’s been back for our latest EcuTek ECU and TCM calibration, with Dimitri Keramidas doing what he does best 💻

The result? 728 hp on our Mainline DynoLog Dynamometers Mainline Hubdyno — around ~856 bhp at the flywheel.
Serious pace from a stock engine and transmission. Its best 100–200 km/h Dragy is 5.26 seconds.

It’s no stranger to CarWow, having gone head-to-head with built R35 GTRs and other supercars and always putting on a proper show 💪🏼
