Aaron’s R35 GTR — VOLKOV ST4.5 🔥

From our previous ST4.25 package → VOLKOV ST4.5 conversion.

Engine out. Transmission out. Full service. VOLKOV-spec IHI Nismo turbo conversion. Reassembled, calibrated and straight onto our Mainline ProHub 3000+ WHP hub dyno.

Results 636 at the Hubs ~748 BHP fly at 1.6 bar— and importantly, this is still running the factory intercooler. 💪🏼

The hardware is capable of more, but at this level we’re at the point where increasing boost further on the stock intercooler simply isn’t the way we do things. Next step for more power = intercooler upgrade, improved charge-air temperature control and more headroom.

Calibration is via , with multiple selectable maps built around how Aaron actually uses the car:

MAP 1 — 529 WHP | 95 RON / road map
1.1 bar — sensible everyday calibration.

MAP 2 — 579 WHP | CIRCUIT 🏁
1.3 bar — specifically calibrated for track use, with power and boost managed to control temperatures and maintain consistency over repeated hard laps rather than chasing a single headline dyno number.

MAP 3 — 636 WHP / 748 BHP | FULL POWER 🔥
1.6 bar — maximum current specification.

MAP 4 — FUEL CUT/ IMMOBILISER 🔒

All integrated through the factory ECU with EcuTek map switching, boost control, VOLKOV traction strategy and our Godzilla flame calibration. No separate boost controller hanging in the cabin — everything controlled through the calibration as it should be.

A proper fast-road + circuit R35 package: response, drivability, thermal management and usable power — not simply a dyno figure.

And yes… 636 at the hubs on the STOCK intercooler. 😈

Finished in silver with the Black Edition specification and sitting on the original-style wheels, this car still retains the classic R35 look rather than being over-modified.

Inside, it benefits from a custom Alcantara/leather interior, custom leather/Alcantara steering wheel, carbon paddle shifters and additional carbon trim. It feels considerably more special than a standard early R35 cabin.

Performance upgrades include the VOLKOV Stage 4.25 package, comes with aftermarket performance exhaust system and supporting calibration, producing ~675 BHP while remaining completely usable as a road car.

Mechanically and underneath, this is a particularly nice example. We have had the car on the ramp and inspected the underside — the underbody is remarkably clean for a 2009 R35, with none of the heavy corrosion you can find on some early cars. The photographs speak for themselves.

It sits on Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres all round, in standard sizes, with good tread remaining.
