Six months ago we opened the doors to the Bumper Rescue Smart Repair Bodyshop in Middlewich. The response has been phenomenal.

Whilst the bodyshop is a new venture for us, vehicle repairs certainly aren’t. For many years, Bumper Rescue has operated a fleet of 15 repair vans across the region, helping thousands of motorists, dealerships and commercial customers with high quality SMART repairs. Opening our own dedicated bodyshop was the natural next step, allowing us to offer even more services from a permanent base.

Professional Motorcycle SMART Repairs & Refinishing in Cheshire

Our SMART repair bodyshop in Middlewich is now taking on motorcycle paintwork repairs, including tank scuffs, scratches and dents.

These Honda VFR panniers and top box were recently refinished in Glory Red by our resident painter Matt — a biker himself, who genuinely takes pride in getting every detail right. His workmanship never fails to impress us and the finish speaks for itself.

Alongside this, Matt has also recently repaired a rare Kawasaki ZX7R tank finished in Kawasaki Verde Lime Green. The tank had suffered a deep dent and paint damage, but after repair and refinishing, the finish and colour match came out superb. (See Review)

I couldn't be more impressed with the repair work done on my 1996 Kawasaki motorcycle tank. What I thought was beyond saving-badly dented and heading for the scrap pile
—has been restored to its original condition with incredible skill and attention to detail. The team managed to remove the damage without the need for a full respray, which was a huge relief, as it meant preserving the original factory decals that are not only hard to source but extremely expensive if you can find them at all.
The colour matching on the repaired area is absolutely spot on, you genuinely cannot tell where the damage once was.
The finish blends seamlessly with the existing paint, maintaining the bike's authentic, vintage look. What makes this even more impressive is the turnaround time; the entire job was completed within a week, far exceeding my expectations.
This level of craftsmanship and care is hard to come by. I'll definitely be returning for any future paintwork or repairs, there's no question about it. Highly recommended for anyone who values quality and originality.
