💙 Meet the Team Monday 💙

The one of a kind...CHRISTOPHER 🙌

Chris joined the team in 2021. Starting out in the army at 18, Chris then spent over 30 years driving trucks all over Europe and North America, along the way, he built up a wealth of experience, knowledge and stories from life on the road, giving him a real understanding of what it takes to be driver. After a career on the road, Chris brought his skills and experience to NTT Group, where he now helps train and assess the next generation of drivers.

"What I enjoy most about working at NTT Group is the friendly, family-like atmosphere, the team work closely together and support each other both on the job and outside of work."

Chris is hard on the outside but fluffy on the inside, although he travels to work on his motorbike, his favourite programme is Strictly Come Dancing and he's always ready to show off his best moves on a work night out!

🚛❤️💙 IT’S THAT TIME OF THE WEEK AGAIN… TEST DAY!

Another week of training, plenty of miles covered, nerves conquered and hard work put in — and now it all comes down to test day! 🤞

One of our favourite parts of the job is watching someone arrive at NTT Group at the beginning of their training and seeing their confidence grow with every session.

Then comes that moment we all wait for…

The result! 👀🚛

We’re just as invested in it as our learners are — and there’s nothing quite like seeing that smile when all the hard work pays off. ❤️

A huge well done to everyone who has trained and tested with us this week. Whatever the result, getting behind the wheel and working towards that next step in your career is something to be proud of.

Now the important question…

Who’s going to be joining our pass wall next week? 👀

Yesterday Sue and Rhiann attended the Teesside University Paramedic Student Networking Event 🚑

It was great to meet and chat with some of the students, hear about their experiences and find out more about their plans for the future.

Thanks to everyone who took the time to come and speak to us - it was a really enjoyable event!

Here's the footage from Sue and Rhiann's incredible skydive - we think you'll agree, they absolutley smashed it! 👏❤️

We're so proud of them for stepping outside their comfort zones and raising money for such a brilliant cause along the way.

Thank you again to everyone who supported Sue and Rhiann! 🪂

On Saturday, our very own Sue and Rhiann took the plunge and did a skydive to raise money for the MFC Foundation — and we’re absolutely blown away to have reached £1,500! 🎉❤️

A massive thank you to everyone who donated, shared the fundraiser or simply cheered them on. It really means a lot, and every penny raised will help support the fantastic work the MFC Foundation does across Tees Valley. ❤️

The MFC Foundation does some amazing work supporting people across our local communities. They support people living with illnesses such as cancer, dementia and Parkinson’s, providing support, courses and a network of people around them so that no one has to feel alone. They also create opportunities for people to get involved in sport, work and activities, helping people stay connected, active and involved in their community. ❤️

We also want to say a huge thank you to everyone at Sky High Sky Diving, including the staff, instructors and camera crew. They were all fantastic and made Sue and Rhiann feel completely at ease (well… as at ease as you can feel before jumping out of a plane! 😂🪂).

There’s still time to donate if you’d like to support them — every little bit counts! 🙌

🎥 And stay tuned… we’ve got the video footage coming soon! 👀🪂

Well done Sue and Rhiann — what an achievement! ❤️👏

🎂 WARNING: BIRTHDAYS AT NTT GROUP COME WITH CONSEQUENCES… 😂🚛

One of our lovely learners celebrated her 50th birthday with us this week! 🥳❤️💙

Unfortunately for her, she made the mistake of letting us know… 😂

So naturally, there was only one thing for it:

🎉 Party hat — ON
🎂 Birthday badge — ON
🚛 Driving lesson — still happening!

And yes… she was made to drive around like that all day. 😂🙈

At NTT Group, we might take our training seriously, but that doesn't mean we can't have plenty of laughs along the way.

We're a small team, we get to know our learners, and we genuinely want people to enjoy their time training with us — even if that occasionally means being slightly embarrassed on their birthday. 😉

So here's your official warning:

If your birthday falls while you're training with NTT Group… expect cake. 🎂

And possibly a party hat.

And definitely don't tell us if you don't want a fuss… because we'll probably make one anyway. 😂

A massive Happy 50th Birthday from all of us at NTT Group! 🥳 We hope you had a fantastic day — even if part of it was spent behind the wheel wearing a party hat! 🚛🎉

🎉 MY FAVOURITE TIME OF THE WEEK… PASS TIME! 🚛❤️💙

There really is no better way to finish the week than celebrating another group of successful test passes! 🙌

This will forever be my favourite time of the week.

We see the nerves when our learners first arrive. We see the hard work, the determination, the moments where it all starts to click… and then we get to see that smile when they come back with a PASS! 🥹👏

That’s what makes what we do at NTT Group so rewarding.

We're a small team, which means we genuinely get invested in every learner's journey. Your nerves become our nerves, your test day feels like our test day… and your success is something the whole team celebrates. ❤️

So a HUGE congratulations to this week's successful candidates! 🥳🚛

You put the work in, you earned it, and we couldn't be happier for you.
