le instructor, qualified on to the Driving Standards Agency Register. Our instructors are the most experienced in the area with many years of experience in the haulage industry and driver training. We are qualified to offer most aspects of driver training to both Private and business customers. Construction plant training is available to all business customers and some machines for private customers. Our training is competitively priced and there are no hidden fees - the price we quote will include VAT and the DSA Driving Test fee. We do not ask for payment in advance. Be aware when selecting your training company that some companies provide quotes which do not include these two costs. Furthermore, some may offer a guaranteed test pass which is not possible. Tests are carried out by an independent DSA examiner and therefore a pass cannot be guaranteed. A deposit of £115 is requested in advance with the balance to be paid on the first day of your course. The vehicles we use are of a realistic size and are also equipped with modern gearboxes. They are just like the vehicle you may drive in your future employment. Some training companies provide only basic vehicles, but the vehicles at Teesside Transport Training are all fitted with air suspension, cruise control and air seats, so this means you are trained in a vehicle that is very likely to be of a similar size and specification to those you may drive in your future employment. Our instructors fully understand the demands made on professional drivers and the strict criteria set out by the Driving Standards Agency.
