How do you make a heavily modified Ferrari stand out even more? You wrap it right. 🏎️💨

The team recently had the pleasure of working on this jaw-dropping Ferrari F12 Berlinetta F2X Longtail by Onyx. The styling upgrades on this car are already incredibly impressive, featuring massive carbon elements and aggressive aerodynamic lines.

To bring all those details to life, we wrapped the entire car in a flawless Matte Silver. By eliminating the gloss reflections, you can finally see the true shape of the Onyx kit. We finished it off with custom Matte Red accents to give it that final, bespoke racing touch.

It’s loud, it’s wide, and it looks absolutely flawless.

Can I take my wrapped car through a car wash? 🛑🚿

Please, for the love of your car... DON'T.

In Episode 6 of Know Your Wrap, we teach you how to maintain that showroom finish.

Vinyl is durable, but it isn't bulletproof. Here are the 3 Golden Rules of wrap maintenance:

1️⃣ Say NO to Automatic Washes: Those spinning bristles are wrap killers. They create swirl marks (especially on gloss black) and the high-pressure jets can force water under the edges, causing the wrap to lift.
2️⃣ Hand Wash is King: The two-bucket method with a pH-neutral shampoo is the safest way to clean your car. It’s gentle, thorough, and keeps the vinyl glossy.
3️⃣ Jet Wash with Care: You can use a pressure washer, but keep your distance! Stand at least 30cm back and never spray directly at the edges/seams. If you blast a seam up close, you will slice right through the adhesive bond.

💡 Matte Wrap Owner? Put the polish away! Wax and polish will ruin a matte finish, turning it into a patchy, shiny mess. Use specific matte-care sprays only.

It is an incredibly busy week here at WRAPvehicles, and we absolutely love the mix of projects currently filling the workshop. Just take a look at the sheer variety we have in right now!

Changed the colour? Change the logbook! 📝👮‍♂️

"It's just a wrap, it's temporary, so I don't need to tell the DVLA... right?"

WRONG.

In Episode 8 of Know Your Wrap, we cover the legal side of wrapping.

According to the DVLA and the Police, your V5C (Logbook) must reflect the current visual appearance of your vehicle.

🚨 Why does it matter?
It is all about identification. If a police ANPR camera scans your number plate and sees it is registered as "Silver," but you are driving a "Matte Black" car, you are immediately flagged as suspicious. You will get pulled over.

How to fix it (It's FREE):
1️⃣ Grab your V5C.
2️⃣ Find the "Change of Vehicle Details" section:

New Style Logbook (Multi-coloured blocks): Fill out Section 1.

Old Style Logbook: Fill out Section 7.
3️⃣ Tick "Colour Change": Write the new dominant colour (e.g., "Orange").
4️⃣ Post it: Send it to the DVLA, and you’ll get a new logbook in a few weeks.

Carbon fibre, 23-inch forged wheels, and the ultimate widebody stance. 🏎️💨

We are incredibly proud to unveil our latest major conversion project. We took this brand new Mercedes G63 AMG and transformed it into an absolute road-dominating beast using the premium Urban Automotive Widetrack package.

The Widetrack kit widens the stance significantly, adding brand new, aggressive carbon fibre bumpers, side sills, and extended wheel arches. But a widebody kit is nothing without the right wheels to match. We filled those massive carbon arches perfectly with a set of 23" Urban Automotive forged alloys, giving the G63 a menacing, planted look that demands respect everywhere it goes.

The dealer said it would take months. We said bring it in next week.

Our client had just ordered a brand-new Bentley Flying Spur Mulsanne. They knew exactly what they wanted — a custom champagne two-tone across the upper body. The problem? The factory spec wasn't available without an eye-watering wait, and three other wrap shops had already turned them away saying the colour couldn't be matched.

They walked into our installation centre in the North West with one thing in their hand: an official Bentley paint swatch.

We are operating at maximum capacity, and the variety of projects we are tackling right now is absolutely brilliant. It takes a highly skilled team to seamlessly transition between totally different vehicle types and finish requirements, but that is exactly what we do.

We’ve got a New Defender getting the stealth treatment in Matte Black, and a breathtaking Lamborghini Aventador SV Spyder getting a bold, vibrant new look. We are also hosting a double-trouble pair of Mercedes G-Wagons, while another Mercedes gets a sleek dechrome black-out package to delete all that factory silver.

And right alongside the luxury and the supercars? A good old-fashioned full commercial van wrap. We treat the fleet vehicles with the exact same precision as the V12s.

We are obsessed with the finished look of this VW Transporter for . The brief was "bold" and "tech-inspired," moving away from boring standard van designs.

We utilised a striking combination of vivid pinks and deep purples, visualising data flow and connectivity. We also installed a roof beacon light using our fleet service add-ons to ensure it's fully site-ready. It’s modern, clean, and impossible to ignore.

For busy companies like that are scaling up fast, time is everything. They needed their new van road-ready the moment it left our workshop.

That’s why they utilised our Fleet Service Add-ons.

While the van was in for this incredible tech-inspired colour change, our team also supplied and professionally installed a roof beacon light. We handle the electrics and the aesthetics simultaneously, meaning one less stop for our clients and faster deployment into their fleet.
