Audi Q7 3.0TFSI (4M)

This car had the intake runner flaps replaced at another garage however the check engine light was still on and the diagnosis pointed to the exact flaps that had been installed.

The customer opted to go for the runner flap delete.

For the software side, the car was running a Simos 16 which required unlocking before we were able to flash our calibration into the ECU.

This is definitely a sound you don't want to hear!

The sound was traced to a failing tensioner, we also noted the main vibration damper was severely degraded.

We opted to recommend the customer replace all tensioner, the damepr and main drive belt.

All compontns replaced and the customer will have many more miles of happy driving!

🔋 ⚡ Audi A7 Mild Hybrid

This car came in with a charging fault, unfortunately the owner had tried for months to get this resolved but was unable.

A service bulletin exists for the IGBTs on the 48v Generator unit relating to the exact fault being displayed

We also noted that the previous repair attempts done on the car had also caused the 48v battery to go into emergency shutdown.

All new parts fitted and coded and the car works just as it should - the 48v system is online and charging.
