🚗 NEW SERVICE – PETROL INJECTOR TESTING 🚗

We now offer injector testing for petrols including GDI,PIEZO and TFI

We have the correct specialist equipment to be able to repair and refurb your injector the SAME DAY.

We stock a wide range of injector seals and baskets in stock this allows us to repair majority of GDI and top feed injectors.

All injectors servicing receive the following:

Flow testing at various speeds, pressure and pulse
Resistance test
Ultrasonic clean
Back flushing of the injectors
A PDF health report of each injector.

Replacing seals and Injector baskets are done at an extra cost.

From our experience, The main cause of why injectors fail is mainly due to the use of poor fuel quality or the use of fuel additives, this causes the mesh filter baskets to disintegrate and block the pintle from operating correctly. The second cause is carbon buildup which is commonly found on GDI and PIEZO injectors. Various injectors do have electrical issues and can short circuit internally or can simply have a weak coil however this is rarely the case

We also offer upgraded stainless steel filter baskets that don't suffer from deterioration

Bmw Intermittent Drive Train Fault!!

This Bmw 318d 2.0d N47 was booked in for a diag session after the customer went to multiple garages to fix a simple egr issue.

it was suffering from the very common fault on majority of n47/b47 which is egr failure which flags up the following dtcs:

• P0402 EGR Excessive flow detected
• P042F EGR Stuck closed
• P2002 DPF Efficiency low (Not related to EGR)

These are very common for EGR valve failures, carbon builds up into the EGR and doesn't allow proper movement of the EGR valve, normally when this is the case it's always best to Delete the EGR system or replace both the EGR Valve and the EGR Cooler. cleaning it may work but it's always best to replace or delete (we stock egr valves and coolers for these).

The P2002 was the main reason for the intermittent fault as the sensor was reading a minus number even with the engine switched off, new sensor and relearn and it was sorted.

We applied our EGR Delete and blanked egr off so no more future issues, sorted out the back pressure readings on the dpf by replacing the sensor.

RANGE ROVER RESTRICTED PERFORMANCE AND DPF ISSUES!!!

This range rover discovery 3.0SDV6 was booked in for Diagnostic after a local garage and a breakdown company couldn't correctly diagnose why this car was displaying the restricted performance and dpf symbol under load.

As soon as the customer described the fault I knew instantly it was a boost leak I carried out a smoke boost leak test and found 2 huge air leaks, the first major one was an internal leak within the MAP sensor (damaged caused by the garage who replaced the throttle body) and a leak from the throttle body inlet which was also damaged by previous poor repairs.

I didn't even need to bother doing a fault scan but done it to confirm faults and suspicions.

BLOCKED AFTER TURBO AND EGR FAILURE

This Bmw 320D was booked in by a trade customer who wanted a diagnostics session as to why this car won't rev past 2k rpm and has a hard stutter. we diagnosed it as a faulty turbo (excessive smoke and play on the turbine) and a faulty egr which triggered a hard fault DTC 36F00.

We supplied and fitted a Turbo and fixed the EGR valve and then used ISTA To carry out an air mass test so that the hard fault could be cleared.

We then carried out A DPF CHEMICAL CLEAN as the car still felt a bit sluggish and was smoking due to a bit of oil in the DPF. After the DPF clean, Turbo and egr the car was running perfectly
