We are currently looking for an experienced qualified Vehicle Technician and/or a MOT Tester for our workshop in Maidstone.
Ideal candidate will need to work well under pressure have good communication skills, work well as part of a small friendly team and be reliable.
MOT Tester Licence (Preferred).
NVQ in Motor Vehicle Technology and a City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent (preferred).
Eligibility to work in the UK and hold a full UK driving licence.
Work hours Monday to Friday 8am -6pm plus Saturday mornings with one in every 4 off.
Salary is negotiable dependent on experience.

Light Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester
We are currently looking to fill a job vacancy for a vehicle technician and/or a MOT Tester.
Service Technician Job Purpose
Provides exceptional vehicle servicing and repair by using diagnostic technology and techniques to identify vehicle issues. Completes repairs in good time while keeping to company standards.
Service Technician Job Duties
Performs diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on many types of vehicles while maintaining company and industry standards and adhering to time.
Maintains a working knowledge of a diverse number of motor vehicles and works to enhance and improve that knowledge with new vehicle models and new industry standards, practices, and technologies.
Will be required to communicate with customers regularly.
Keeps work area clean, neat, and to company standards, especially to ensure safety of all team members.
Will need to have good communication skills to relay information to customers.
Advises on other issues vehicles display, including common issues vehicles of certain makes and ages develop, and offers timelines for future vehicle repair needs.
Service Technician Skills and Qualifications
Experience in Service & Repair of vehicles.
MOT Tester Licence (Preferred).
NVQ in Motor Vehicle Technology and a City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent (preferred).
Eligibility to work in the UK and hold a full UK driving licence.
Willing to work Monday to Friday plus Saturday mornings with one in every 4 off.

Hello to all our customers and friends. I would like to update all about the MOT extension which was put in place for 6 months by the government due the lock down period. This is due to end on 1st August 2020.

Regarding the six month extension the government have put in place for MOT testing on your vehicle, I have put this information for you to read so you can all fully understand and don't get caught without a MOT.
We are still open and doing MOT's so our advise to you would be to keep your MOT up to date and your vehicle in a safe and roadworthy condition.
