🚗✨ A little bit of motoring history at The Forge Garage! ✨🚗

We had the pleasure of looking after this lovely little Austin Seven Chummy today, in for a replacement rear wheel bearing.

It might be a little different from the modern cars we usually see in the workshop, but we love getting our hands on these wonderful old classics! 🔧❤️

A beautiful little car with bags of character — and it certainly turned a few heads while it was with us!

A fuel stop for one of The Forge Garage Vehicles, before heading to The Bloxham Steam & Country Fair is probably a wise move given the amount of machinery that will be converging on Bloxham this weekend. The fair takes place at Smiths’ Fields near Bloxham, Oxfordshire on 27–28 June 2026 and features steam engines, vintage tractors, classic vehicles, working displays and much more.

If your “special vehicle” is one of the thirstier vintage types, hopefully you’ve found somewhere with easy forecourt access and plenty of turning room!

Have a great trip over to Bloxham, and may the queues for fuel be shorter than the queues for the beer tent. 😄 Steam engines, vintage tractors, military vehicles, classic cars and the evening entertainment should make for a cracking weekend.
