Really chuffed for my pupil today passing in his fab little car 4d/f's.
Another pupil I'll miss. Worked hard, thoughtful, respectful...his honesty at times was refreshing & did make me chuckle a few times.
He failed his first one on an unmarked roundabout for lane discipline which frustrated me, him & the examiner on debrief repeatedly said you drove so well on numerous other r/b's & only one other d/f. Examiner told me as he exited the car - he's a really good driver which was reassuring as an instructor & meant he was close.
Mum swiftly, amazingly got him another test, did some training in his car & off they went today!
Mum has been brilliant, a huge support, it's really been a team effort!

Luckily an inset day from school so no uniform & was able to wear shorts.
Old head on young shoulders, works hard, determined, likes to be prepared, & he was!
Will miss the insight from a young intelligent mind to my old one on politics & wanting to make a difference in the world for a brighter future!
Wish him all the luck on his next endeavours!

First time pass 🎉 only 4d/f's, hard work pays off once you're dedicated! And boy did we put the extra effort in! He couldn't let his Big Sis pass first time & himself not.
Thank you to his fab parents support & letting me teach both your lovely children.
From start to finish, bit of a break in the middle before the final push.
Frustrations, reflection, self awareness & always being able to laugh about it! This young man dug deep, stayed humble & kept going!
Still not sure if there is any mystical reason if a squirrel runs out in front of you on 5 consecutive lessons!🤔Anyone?🤷‍♀️

Beeping a learner whilst they have a meltdown at a junction doesn't speed things up! I realise it might be frustrating & momentarily holding you up. I'm remaining calm to get us out of the situation asap.
Shouting, hand signals & anger do the opposite.

Not easy switching cars just before your test or handling today's tricky route covering lots of tight side roads, awkward junctions, dual carriageways, busy r/b's & country-lanes. He & the new car really got put through their paces!
Nice to sit in the back & watch hours of lessons & questions all come together! From start to finish, many frustrations along the way but today a competent driver emerged!

This lovely young lady took it slow at first as she gained her confidence as busy roads scared her. Tho now she’s able to deal with what ever comes her way even on her test, inc an emergency stop which she just hated practicing.
The last few weeks she morphed into a great driver, with her abilities & confidence soaring! Such a joy to watch the transformation!
Worked so hard to pay for all her lessons. Booked her own test.
