With our in house Maha LPS3000 Dyno we are the West Yorkshire main agent for APR Performance components and tuning. Full remapping service us state of the art equipment improving both your vehicles performance and fuel economy. We offer performance parts including KW, ST and Bilstein supension kits, AET Motorsport, Forge Motorsport, Wolfrace, Miltek and Powerflex. We can also offer servicing for the Volkswagen G60 and G40 superchargers, Hybrid turbos, Retrofit accessories and engine conversions.

What started as an exhaust blow on this Mk6 Golf GTI soon turned into a bigger job than expected.

The car came in with a noticeable blow from the exhaust system, and once we got it up on the ramp, Josh found the clamp had snapped on the hot side.

This is exactly why it’s worth getting small issues checked early — what sounds like a simple exhaust leak can sometimes uncover a bit more once we’re underneath the car.

This Polo GTI AW is the first we’ve been able to map since unlocking became available for a number of these ECUs.

Running an EcoTune Stage 2 ECU and TCU calibration alongside its supporting hardware, it produced:

🔥 263.8 BHP
🔥 395.3 Nm

The owner first found us at VW Festival—and then brought the Polo to MGM to take its performance to the next level.

Unfortunately, not every AW GTI ECU can be unlocked just yet. If you’re interested in tuning yours, get in touch with the vehicle details and we can check what’s possible and advise on the best route forward.

This BMW 1 Series competes in the 750 Motor Club’s 116 Trophy—a tightly controlled series designed to keep the racing close and competitive.

It came to MGM for three dyno runs, producing 122bhp. More importantly, the graph revealed a significant flat spot between 2,500 and 3,000rpm, giving the owner useful information to take back to the tuner.

Dyno testing isn’t just about finding a headline power figure. It shows exactly how an engine performs throughout the rev range and can highlight issues you may not notice from one number alone.

Now THIS is an engine bay. 😮‍💨

At VW Festival we couldn't walk past this one without getting the camera out.

Carbs, polished to within an inch of their life and an engine bay you could probably eat your dinner from. 👌

We spotted this beauty on our travels through the VW Festival — exactly the sort of attention to detail we love seeing.

This Audi S3 came to us with a Engine Light, we used VCDS to look at the engine’s measuring blocks to detect chain stretch. With the timing cover removed, we could inspect the components properly and replace what was required.

EA888 engines don’t have a fixed routine timing-chain replacement interval—but that doesn’t mean the chain and its associated components can’t wear.

If you own a VAG vehicle and are concerned about unusual rattling, warning lights or timing-chain stretch, speak to the MGM team.
