To anyone who knows me I had a operation ( high tibial osteotomy) 8 weeks ago I was told to take 6 weeks off work I did a week , not because I wanted to but because I had no choice been self employed in this country means you fend for yourself , no help whatsoever, so when people say I’m crazy/mental/mad/or stupid yes in many ways that’s me ,
But think myself I’m honest/hard working/caring,
So when I get home and put my ice pack on and sit in pain feeling like s**te I question myself is it worth the pain everyday ?
Answer yes it is because I deliver a service and people need me , and I need to work as my dad and my grandad did , it’s in the blood ,
Got to say didn’t think this opp would be as bad as it was , and finally getting to my point my apprentice Matthew has been a great asset I give him a bad ride sometimes but all in all I couldn’t have done it without him , don’t get me wrong he’s one moody little s**t but that asside he has helped keep Jackson’s superbikes in business so this is my thank you to Mathew Martin John Jansen van Rensburg ( mouth full I know ) Matt for short , so when you come to my shop for repairs etc and see me hanging of a crutch don’t look at me look at him because he has kept this business a float ,
My wife and family have been more than supportive and I thank you all I love you all x
But when you see Matthew shake his hand because all though he probably doesent believe it yet he has talents , loyalty/passion/drive and ability
And most importantly potential
