Look we’re not blowing our own bagpipe but just thought we would do the right thing and support this fantastic Local Event by offering the Inverurie Events Team a van FREE OF CHARGE for their special weekend event.
Now it’s your opportunity to support by turning up on the day!

Good Afternoon Everyone...we need your help ⤵️
Inverurie Events are looking for volunteers to help with our huge Garioch Pipe Band Championships | Sun 24th May INverurie at Kellands Park.
The event takes place from 10.30am to 6pm with a huge event village, funfair, beer tent, food vans and 27 separate Pipe Band performances throughout the day.
We have 17 Pipe Bands taking part and the finale of the day will be a parade of all the bands from the event to the front of the Town Hall where the prize giving will take place.
We are looking for assistance with the morning set-up, general marshalling throughout the event, clear-up at night and most importantly, marshalling the parade route.
Any help you can give at any time during the event would be appreciated, see timings below as a guide.
Morning set-up briefing - 8am
Post-Event Clear-Up briefing 5.30pm
General Marshalling briefing - 10.30am
Marshalling Parade - Briefing at 4pm
Anyone who is able to assist at any/all of the above on the day would be a great help.
Furthermore, if anyone has a van or a trailer they can assist with, this would be very appreciated.
Please let us know if you are available to assist please and at what times. Our Inverurie Events Committee really appreciate the help we get from our valued volunteers and these events simply could not take place without you.
