Tyre pressure feeling a bit low? Here’s an easy checklist to check and top up the pressure:

1. Find recommended tyre pressure (door sill, handbook)
2. Get a pressure gauge (digital or dial)
3. Remove valve cap on wheel
4. Press gauge firmly on valve stem to get a reading
5. Inflate or deflate as needed (in small increments)
6. Replace valve cap on wheel
7. Don't forget to check your spare tyre too!

The quickest way is on the gov.uk MOT checker. Type in your reg and you’ll have your date in seconds. If it’s coming up, you can book early and keep the same renewal date for next year.
