Our forecourt is looking a little too tidy at the moment. That's not a brag, it's a problem.

We've had a brilliant run of sales lately, which is great news for the people driving off in their new cars, but it means our stock's thinner than we'd like it. So we're putting the word out: if you're thinking of selling, we'd love to hear from you.

We're not fussy in a bad way, we're just picky about the right things. Cars that have been looked after. Cars with a proper history. Cars a family could trust. Hybrids, SUVs, first cars, reliable runabouts, if it ticks those boxes, we're interested.

Simon didn't drive himself back today.

He'd dropped a BMW 118i Sport off with its new owner near Bury St Edmunds, no courier, no collection reference, just driven there himself. Getting home again was a different matter. Our daughter finishes work nearby mid-afternoon, so she swung by, picked him up, and ran him back to the dealership.

Not exactly a slick operation. But it's honest and it's how we do things familywise.

Another one delivered. Small business, big detour.

Audi's own head of design once called the A5 Coupe "the most beautiful car" he'd ever made. We're inclined to agree.

Back when it launched, Walter de Silva, the man behind its shape, said it himself in an official statement. The A5 Coupe went on to pick up a national design award in Germany the following year.
