Hi, I’ve had loads of lesson enquiries lately, which I’m very flattered by. But unfortunately all looking to start immediately and I don’t have spaces til August time at the very earliest with a good few booked in for after that.

For anyone thinking about lessons for later in the year it’s best to get organised and get booked in early.

Sorry I couldn’t help the ones that messaged. I hope you can all find someone who can start you soon and hope the driving lessons go well 👍

Chuffed to bits for Annabel Green on passing her driving test on her first attempt in a busy dreich morning with just 3 minor faults. 🥇

Another early start, the traffic was busy resulting in you going off route a bit but you took it all in your stride, coping very well getting the positive result all your hard work deserved. I’ll be glad of a long lie tomorrow 😂

Big shout out to mum
Claire for helping loads with all the extra practise between your lessons, your harshest examiner 😂

Take care out on the roads now yourself and enjoy the summer break before moving away to Uni in September.

Big congratulations to Dylan Hide, passing his test first time this morning with a nice steady drive with 3 little faults. 🥇

Chuffed to bits for you, was well deserved as you’ve been ready and waiting patiently for a wee while.

Massive thanks to both mum and dad for all the extra practise in your own car, Take care out on the roads yourself now and enjoy the freedom and independence this will bring. 🚘

Massive congratulations goes to Madisyn Stuart on passing her driving test on her first attempt with only 1 driving fault 🥇 this morning in Inverurie.

A result that was never really in doubt, you’ve been a model student right from the start, and came on so much in the last month or so when you got your own car. 🚘

Huge thanks to both mum and dad for all the extra practise running back and fore to Aberdeen for swimming in the early hours. Feet up for you both now. Kelly I hear McDonald’s are looking for staff 🍔

Good luck with your final exam next week and enjoy the prom at the end of the month.

Will look out for you now out on the roads so take care and enjoy.

A Great feeling and I’m chuffed to bits for you 👍

Sorry the Photo a little windswept 💨

A Lovely controlled drive just now in poor weather conditions resulting in a well deserved 1st time pass for Jessica Christie 🥇 ☔️

You’ve had to wait patiently for a test but used the time to your advantage to gain more experience with the extra practise with dad really helping.

Delighted for you, take care out on the roads now yourself and enjoy the freedom it will bring. Dad away to sort the insurance now 🚘

A fine start to the exam leave. Hope the exams go well ✍️

🙄 Today’s Bam on the road. 🙄

My students 3rd lesson, just getting used to the roads doing quiet junctions. Approaching a junction away to turn right and the 🤡 behind us does this…. 🙄

Stopped to have a word with her and she couldn’t see where she went wrong, just said I was a sh*te instructor and we wasn’t indicating 😂

She must’ve got her licence aff the back of a Frosties box in the 80’s!

Driving test format 👍

Driving test format 👍

Here's what to expect on your driving test...

The test is split into 4 parts:

1. 👁 Eyesight check, usually a car registration plate from 20m away..
(Fail this, your test doesn't go ahead)

Bring them glasses🤓

2. Show me and tell me questions 🙋‍♂️
- You will get 1 tell me question at the start of your test.
- Then 1 show me question whilst driving.

3. General driving ability 🚘

- You will drive in various roads and traffic conditions
- You will drive independantly and you will need to follow:

A Sat Nav
Road Signs
Or a combination of both

You will be asked to pull over 3 times:

A hill start
An angled start (move off from behind a parked car)
One normal stop at the side of the road

Also, the possibility of the emergency stop ✋️(1 in 7)

4. Reversing your vehicle ⏪️

You will be asked to complete one of the four reverse manouvres

- Reverse parallel park
- Reverse bay park
- Forward bay park
- Pull up on right side of road, reverse back 2 car lengths

You will be driving for 35 to 45 minutes roughly.

Good luck to all that have a driving test coming up! 🍀🤞

Incredibly proud of and so chuffed for camera shy Jade Fraser for keeping it all together and passing her driving test on her first attempt this morning in Inverurie. A first time pass with 3 little driving faults 🥇

Jade you was so nervous in your pre test warm up that you was actually making me nervous 😂

I know how much this means to you, you’ve been a top student, super keen, always wanting to learn and improve and always trying to get better, even delaying your original date to make sure was you fully ready when you had some areas to work on more. 👏

You’ve had a fair week of stress, open uni assignment due yesterday on top of your full time job, and your driving test sandwiched between treating yourself to your first car on Friday. You can breathe and relax a bit now and start getting excited for your new purchase. 🚘

Take care on the roads and enjoy the freedom that this will bring. Step count will reduce 😂 🚶

What a feeling tho. 😃 we did a few lessons in 2018 when you was 17 then it was great to hear back from you again in the summer to help you get on the road fully.

Will miss all our chats and getting gym advice from you but look forward to seeing you on the road in your new car 💪

This would help the backlog if people took this advice onboard instead of wasting valuable test slots with their ‘have a go’ approach potentially putting other road users at risk as a result.

I Certainly won’t be letting anyone use my car if I don’t think you’re ready.
