As Mum made one final journey past our family garage, we just wanted to say thank you.

To have all the lads there past and present, was emotional but really fitting. Mum would have loved it. To all the Irby community and to Steve from Belmar and Liston Funeral Services, we can’t thank you enough for the kindness, support and comfort you’ve given us during such a difficult time.

We are very grateful.

As many of you will already know, Irby Motor motor company has always been a family business. This week, our family suffered the heartbreaking loss of one of the people who made it all possible.

Sue, alongside Bill Silcock, helped build Irby Motors into what it is today.

Sue had the biggest heart and was always there for anyone who needed her. Her kindness, generosity, and compassion touched so many lives, and she will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her.

We are heartbroken, but the love and support we've received over the past few days has brought us great comfort, and for that we are truly grateful.

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support during this incredibly difficult time. Sue's legacy of love, kindness, an hard work will live on through our family and through Irby Motors, she will be missed so much 💔.
