The 4th and final round of the Portuguese National Championship saw Shepherd wins in both the 1/8th On-Road and 1/10th 200mm classes!

Going into the event, the championship titles were still undecided and everything was open in the standings.

In the 1/8th On-Road category, Ricardo Sousa won the final round of the National Championship, followed closely by Emanuel Silva in second place.

In the 1/10th 200mm class, Tiago Mendes secured TQ and the overall victory, while Tiago Afonso finished in 4th place and José Reis in 6th.

With these results, Tiago Mendes becomes a two-time Portuguese National Champion, while Ricardo Sousa finishes the season as National Vice-Champion!

Last weekend, after a hiatus of a few years, the memorial race was held once again at the new track in Pécs, Hungary 🇹🇯.

The event now commemorates three veterans who contributed greatly to the RC modeling community in Hungary.

Thanks to its exceptionally high organizational standards, this has become the most popular nitro RC event of the year. From now on, it will be organized annually and looks forward to welcoming international competitors as well.

In the 1/10 category, Simon Ciudan completely dominated the weekend with his Shepherd Velox V10, winning every qualifying round while setting a new lap record, and took victory in 2 out of the 3 finals. This marked the conclusion of his nitro racing following the passing of his father, who was one of the veterans honored by this memorial race. His teammat, László Gács, finished in 3rd place, also driving a Shepherd Velox V10.

In the 1/8 category, Csanád Hegedűs—the youngest driver in the field—made it to the bottom step of the podium in his very first 1/8 race. Racing with a Shepherd Velox V8.3, he delivered a mature performance that truly belied his age.

We will be at the EFRA 1/8th IC European Championships at Bourg-en-Bresse Aerodrome, France, providing factory trackside support throughout the event!

There will be a selection of key spare parts on hand at the track to support the event; however, drivers are encouraged to bring any frequently used spare parts they may require.
