This stunning Lotus Esprit has been with us at Goblin Automotive for some well-deserved attention.

We’ve carried out a full service and comprehensive check-over, along with replacing all the suspension bushes throughout the car. The suspension has then been correctly set up, restoring the handling and driving experience to its former glory.

Now refreshed, tightened up and ready to be enjoyed once again!

Another one wrapped up. 🔥

This custom stainless steel cat-back exhaust was built from the ground up for the perfect balance of performance, sound, and fitment. Every bend, weld, and hanger was fabricated in-house to ensure it looks as good as it performs.

Finished off with quad carbon fibre tips for an OEM+ look with the tone to match. 👌

We had the pleasure of attending two amazing car shows – one at Battle Abbey and the other at The Roadhouse in Eastbourne.

Both events were packed with incredible vehicles, great conversations, and plenty of fellow enthusiasts who share our passion for all things automotive. It was brilliant to showcase our cars, meet new faces, catch up with familiar ones, and be part of such welcoming car communities.

A huge thank you to the organisers of both events and everyone who stopped by to chat with us. We loved seeing the variety of cars on display and sharing our enthusiasm for the automotive world.

A huge milestone for this iconic Lotus Europa JPS — the body is back from paint and looking absolutely incredible in its fresh gloss black finish.

After all the preparation, repairs, and countless hours behind the scenes, seeing the shell back in one piece and wearing its new paint makes all the hard work worthwhile.

Now the next phase begins.

It’s time to start building this car back up from the ground up. From suspension and drivetrain to wiring, trim, and all the finishing touches, every part will be carefully fitted as we bring this legendary John Player Special-inspired machine back to life.

There’s still plenty to do, but this is where the project really starts to come together.

Our new exhaust bender has been put straight to work, and here’s the result.

Using our new mandrel bending equipment, we’ve just fabricated this custom exhaust system, accurately matching the original routing while improving flow and maintaining consistent pipe diameter through every bend. No crushed sections, no compromises – just smooth bends and a proper fit.

Seeing the old system next to the new one really shows the difference. From rusty, restrictive pipework to a freshly fabricated system built to last.

Big job in the workshop this week — torque tube replacement on this C6 Corvette 🔧🇺🇸

The torque tube is one of the most important parts of the Corvette drivetrain, transferring power from the engine to the rear-mounted transaxle. When bearings start wearing out, you can get unwanted noises, vibrations and drivability issues.

Not the quickest of jobs either — plenty has to come apart before we can get to the heart of it 👀

This one is getting the attention it deserves and will be back to delivering that V8 power the way it should.
