It’s race week again! 😎

This weekend we’re heading south, returning to Donington Park circuit for the first time in just over a decade. Last time we were there in 2016 saw some fantastically close racing, hopefully more of the same this weekend.

We have 2 races on the National circuit this Saturday, updates on here and live timing available on TSL

Great weekend for the team at Knockhill Racing Circuit

2 wins and a P2 for Jack Irvine and 2 P2’s and a P3 for in the Scottish Motor Racing Club MINI Cooper Cup. A strong weekend strengthened Jacks lead in the championship, and closed the gap between Michael in P3 and P2 in the standings. 🥇🥇🥈 🥈🥈🥉

On the Friday test day we also had Blair out in his The MINI CHALLENGE UK Trophy car, and Kyle in his ICCR Junior MINI car getting his first taste of Knockhill. Who knows what he’ll go on to race when he graduates from Junior racing after this season 🤔

Old but gold….we recovered this first generation Honda Legend Coupe in with a non start fault. Quickly diagnosed as having no output to the fuel pump from the main relay - the relay was removed, the 37 year old solder removed and resoldered, and it was running again. The fuel pump was tested too, to ensure it’s not partially seized and drawing too much current.

The owner of this Jazz came to us with the request - make the car more powerful, more comfortable, not too loud, and to retain things like cruise control.

The logical plan was to take the K20Z4 from an FN2 Civic Type R and transplant it into the Jazz. We also used the seats from the donor car, as well as the brake calipers, giving it a good brake upgrade.

The exhaust system by Freeflow has a cat as well as two large silencers. The car is MOT emissions compliant, reasonably quiet, yet still makes good power alongside other supporting mods and a tune using Hondata Flashpro, 222bhp to be specific.

The result is a car that retains OEM drivability but has a whole load more power available when needed. Unlike many engine swapped cars we see, it runs fault free, no warning lamps, and all the systems integrate with the new engine.
