Round 2 of the Scottish MINI Cooper Cup brought plenty action to Croft Circuit at the weekend and there was plenty podiums and trophies for the team.

Race 1 - after Jack Irvines blistering pace in qualifying put him pole, he had to start from the back after an issue gridding up. After a couple of laps he had charged through from the back to take P1 where he would stay until the flag. Robbie Dalgliesh battled back to take P3 after an eventful race getting caught up in some contact.

Race 2 - The weather took a turn for the worse going into Sunday and it was a wet race. Jack started from P8 on the reversed grid and worked forward on the first few corners, but was hit off on the first lap and again found himself having to come through from the back, with rear suspension damage, to take P2 and fastest lap. Michael Williams followed him over the line to take P3.

Next round is at Kirkistown in Northern Ireland at the end of this month.

Qualifying just completed at Croft Circuit in the Scottish MINI Cooper Cup.

It’s a team 1-2-3 for Jack, Michael and Robbie, with Baz taking P10 after having lap times deleted for track limits.

Race 1 is at 16:25

A couple of Type R’s in recently for timing chain replacement - using all genuine Honda parts of course, the only way to do it.

Honda Integra Type R DC5 in for a main service and MOT. All work carried out using the best quality products - oils and brake fluid, and genuine filters to keep this classic in peak condition.

Done a few K20’s into MK1 GD Jazz/Fit, first time doing a K20 into a GE Jazz.

Engine is a FN2 Civic Type R K20Z4. Space is tight in the engine bay.

Mounts are , ECU is Flashpro

Got a Honda and don’t want it to start turning to rust within years?

The new owner of this Civic had to replace his last one due to terminal rust, and he was sure to make sure his new car doesn’t meet the same fate. All underside trims and arch liners were removed along with some interior panels, and treated with a clear wax, inside the panels and box sections and underside.

This will extend the life of the car greatly. We’re seeing 5 year old Hondas regularly that are becoming fairly rusty underneath, best to treat it before subframes etc need refurbishment.
