Nice little upgrade package on this one – keeping it simple but effective 👀

• Fresh custom Stage 1 ECU tune 📈
• Added a bit of popcorn limiter 🍿 + light smoke for that proper diesel feel 💨

🚗 Seat Ibiza 2020 1.0 TSI In For Pre-MOT Work 🔧

This one came in with a few issues needing sorted before its MOT – and we got it turned around over the weekend to keep the customer on the road for work 💪

🛠️ Work carried out:
• Clutch pedal pressure issue diagnosed → faulty clutch master cylinder replaced (genuine part)
• Slave cylinder also found sticking → replaced with genuine part
• Discs & pads supplied and fitted in-house 🛞
• Window switch replaced (genuine part)
• 2x lower arms (common bush failure) + 2x ball joints replaced
• All fluids checked ✅

💷 This job had previously been quoted at £2000+ by a large national garage…
We came in at less than half that price 👀

⏱️ Customer needed the car back ASAP for work – we made it happen over the weekend, no hassle.

Volkswagen Tiguan 2.0TDI – AdBlue Fault

This Volkswagen Tiguan 2.0TDI came to us with a common issue we see all the time — an AdBlue fault and the dreaded non-start counter slowly counting down.

The owner got in touch to ask about the AdBlue solutions we offer, as the warning wasn’t going away and repairs can quickly become expensive, with no guarantee the issue won’t return later on.

After talking through the options, we explained the most reliable long-term solution. Instead of throwing a lot of money at parts and temporary fixes, we carried out a full AdBlue system delete, meaning the car no longer relies on the system that’s known to cause these faults.

We got to work, completed the job, and now this Tiguan is back on the road with no more AdBlue worries.

BMW E60 525d LCI in for some serious upgrades 🔥🚗

This one came into Nardo Performance with the owner wanting to take things up a level — Stage 2 ECU power and Stage 2 gearbox software to match ⚙️

First things first, we carried out all our usual safety and health checks to make sure the car was ready for tuning ✅ Once everything checked out perfectly, it was time to get to work.

This build already had some great supporting mods:
🔧 Upgraded turbo core
🌬️ Upgraded intake
💨 Full decat system

With the hardware in place, we dialed in the ECU and optimized the TCU software to make the most of it. The result is a big improvement in power and torque, sharper response, and much better gearbox behavior under load 📈

To top it all off, we added an aggressive popcorn limiter as requested 🎇

🔥 MK4 Golf GT TDI PD130 🔥

These 1.9 PD130s is our bread and butter — the platform where Nardo Performance really began. Always a pleasure working on these PDs… pure nostalgia overload for us personally 😮‍💨

The customer came in with a ticking noise, which we quickly diagnosed as a faulty auxiliary belt tensioner.
New tensioner fitted, noise gone — sorted properly ✅

With the mechanical issue resolved, he opted for our custom-tailored Stage 1 ECU software.
This car is still a fairly stock setup, running:
✔️ Decat
✔️ Intercooler

Even in this form, these PDs still move very well, and we finished it off with our custom aggressive popcorn limiter 🌽🔥

This one won’t stay stock for long though…
A bigger turbo upgrade is coming very shortly, and we’ll be ready 😈

🔥 VW Golf MK7 GTI 2.0 TSI 🔥

This manual Golf MK7 GTI came into Nardo Performance already running some tasty hardware upgrades 👀
✔️ Decat
✔️ Intake
✔️ Resonator delete

The owner got in touch to see what we could offer on these platforms. Good timing — we’ve been doing a lot of in-house development on MQB platform and are very comfortable extracting big, safe gains from them 💪

The customer opted for our Stage 2 ECU software, fully custom tailored to this specific car — no generic flash-and-go maps here.
After several data logs and revisions, we dialled it in perfectly.

Because this is a manual gearbox, we sensibly capped the torque for now. Anyone who knows these cars knows the stock clutches struggle even at factory power, never mind Stage 2 levels. Reliability first 👌

To finish it off, we added some pops, bangs & burbles to match the setup 🔊🔥

He’ll be back once the clutch is upgraded, and then we’ll really turn things up 😈

🚐 VW Caddy 2.0 TDI

This 2019 Volkswagen Caddy 2.0 TDI came into Nardo Performance feeling a bit… held back 😴
From factory these vans are heavily detuned, leaving a lot of potential on the table.

After our Stage 1 ECU software, what a difference 👀

🚗 VW Golf GTD DSG – Stage 1 ECU + TCU 🚗

This Golf GTD came to us feeling sluggish, with the customer worried there might be a hardware issue.

As always, we carried out full pre-tune checks and a more in-depth inspection — and this one checked out perfectly 👌
No faults, no issues… just the very conservative factory VW tune doing what it does best.

We explained to the customer that what they were feeling was stock behaviour, not a problem.
So we loaded a Stage 1 ECU remap paired with a Stage 1 TCU (DSG) software upgrade 🔧💻

Result?
🔥 Sharper throttle response
🔥 Stronger, smoother power delivery
🔥 Smarter DSG shifting
🔥 And a car that finally feels how a 2.0 TDI should
