I had the pleasure of driving this beast around the gorgeous Malvern countryside for an hour yesterday thanks to my wife giving me a Morgan driving experience voucher for my birthday.

I have to admit that I've never really been a big fan of these cars, inevitably labelling them old men's cars, but this one has totally changed my opinion of this fantastic motor car. With the BMW 2.0 Turbo charged engine and automatic (yes automatic!) Gearbox, this latest incarnation of the of the Plus 4 is an absolute blast to drive!

Now, where are my lottery numbers... 🤔

This little Diahatsu Copen did cause a great deal of head scratching when it arrived at the Towers with a non functioning roof. These are quite a rare sight here in the UK and access to parts and technical information is tricky to say the least.

I located the fault to a failed sensor on the boot lid hinge but couldn't source the parts to fix it. I eventually discovered that it was the same as used on a Saab 93 convertible and I managed to locate a second hand one online. After small modifications to the connections, it was successful fitted and worked a treat!

I did have to give myself a rather large metaphorical pat on the back for a job well done 😄.

I've been a bit quiet on the old socials for a bit. Things have been pretty full on here at Bright Spark Towers, but I'm back!

There's some interesting jobs going on in the background which I shall be getting you up to speed on shortly.

In the mean time, here's a recent visitor to The Towers. This Jeep is not all that it seems. It's actually a 1980's Mahinda Jeep with a Peugeot diesel engine, recreated to look like a WW2 Willys Jeep. Its actually a very good likeness to the original and I love it! 😁

It's been a bit of a Porsche festival here at Bright Spark Towers recently. In conjunction with , I've been working on this gorgeous 1980s 911 Turbo, the car that every self respecting school kid of the 80s had a poster of on their wall. And it was stunning! A totally original example of an iconic motor car 😁
