Another fantastic show wrapped up! 🙌

We teamed up with Autobahn Scotland at the aberdeenperformancecarshow to bring you an incredible display of cars, and it was great to see so many of you stopping by for a chat throughout the day.

Mr We Restore Alloys himself, Chic Stenhouse (73) and his friend Alex (62) are taking on an incredible challenge, cycling the 185-mile Hebridean Way from Barra all the way to the Butt of Lewis over six days, starting on 12th May 2026 🚴‍♂️
They’re doing this to raise money for Sport Parkinson’s, a cause that means so much to us.

Chic was diagnosed with Parkinson’s 9years ago, and he continues to take it on with determination, strength, and his usual sense of humour (the occasional wobble and shake isn’t always down to Parkinson’s 🍷🍷 🍷 😉).

To even get on a bike is a huge achievement, and to cycle 185 miles is something truly special and we couldn’t be prouder of them both.

If you’re able to sponsor them, no matter how small, it would be hugely appreciated. Every penny really does make a difference. Thank you so much for your support.

This week’s showstopper 🔥
An absolutely beautiful concours-condition MkI Ford Capri 2000GT.

Despite its incredible condition, it was missing one key detail—its original wheels. After tracking down a full set of five genuine Sport wheels, the owner brought them to us for a full refinish to match the car’s impeccable standard.

A gorgeous car with a colour scheme to please at least half of the locals in our dundee branch 🤣
