Another V8 in the workshop at MMP Land Rover, but one we dont see very often these days!
This Range Rover L322 is in for a set of timing chains to keep that legendary M62 BMW V8 running as it should
These engines are fantastic when looked after, but timing chain guides are a known weak point, and this one had suffered the typical failure, of the main plastic chain guide disintegrating. The only thing holding the chain in place was the timing cover 🫣
A new set of chains, guides and tensioners will see this back to rude health in a few days time! And it certainly makes a change from doing Ingenium chains 🤣
