🔥 Fire in the Transit 🔥

This Transit came in with multiple electrical faults — traced back to burnt wiring that took out the BCM. Proper diagnostics, proof found, parts sourced and repair underway.

Alongside that, it’s been wiring repairs, airbag fault diagnostics, and plenty of cold flat batteries ❄️🔋

I may be a bit slow to reply at times, but I’m doing my best and steadily getting back at it.

💙 I want to be open and honest with everyone.
Right now I’m an inpatient receiving treatment for my mental health, and I am currently detained while professionals help me get back to a safe and stable place. This isn’t easy to share, but it feels important to be real about it.

🧠 Mental health looks different for everyone. Sometimes it’s a dark day, sometimes it’s prolonged turbulence rather than a single rough landing. Either way, it matters, and it deserves understanding and support.

🔧 Swift Auto Electrics will be temporarily inactive while I focus on my health. I’ll let everyone know when I’m discharged and ready to return.

We've been a bit quiet on here recently — but only because we've been flat-out on the road!

Out with the old in with the new! Here’s a recent controller upgrade we did for this lovely fire appliance. A new Standby RSG MCS16 unit with T16 handset supplied by Response Vehicle Lighting.

A great reliable unit to ensure it works first time every time and has a clear control interface, essential in an emergency vehicle to allow for easy use when needed!
