This week we’ve got a previously converted van from a actual company yes hard to believe that this is the standard across many van conversion companies🥲😳😱

It has come to us to have 3 seats fitted, bulkhead removed and lower half refitted, opening window to O/S, led down lights, charging sockets and a General tidy up📸

This conversion if you can even call it that is so poor it’s unbelievable, poorly fitted panels, wiring that’s not protected and half connected, roof sagging, carpet lining in a million sections bodged together🫣

Floor screwed down with 1 1/2 screws🫣

Lino not fully glued down and pieced in🫣

Joints in floor not filled and sanded🫣

Panels held in with no more than 6 screws🫣

Cheap tatty screw caps🫣

Poorly finished carpet🫣

Wiggly worms/wrinkles in the carpet throughout🫣

Live wires just left unprotected and not connect other end🫣🔥

The end result of this will be posted tomorrow but let’s just say it’s a dam sight better than it was, ideally it needed ripping out and re doing completely but the customer was happy to try and save as much as possible and keep the costs down💯

It’s actually a shame that companies can charge such amounts to give you this type of end product, we’re one of the uk’s cheapest conversions which includes everything none of this starting price and then having to add ply lining insulation ect everything is included in ours and just because we’re priced as we are doesn’t mean we lack in price and perfection there isn’t another company that completes these type of conversions to our standards. 1 week build slots which ensures perfection is made in each and every build we do none of the 2 days on your driveway with standard poorly fitting cnc ply lining kits these are professional conversions done to the highest of standards💯

This van came in for a full line out and seat installation📸

New 3x single generation tourneo seats✅

Seat rails fully flushed into a solid ply wood flooring which is sealed down and not screwed and finished off with all end caps for the rails that have been cut✅

Smoke carpet lining✅

Black altro walkway flooring✅

Factory threshold trim✅

Black plastic sliding door step edging✅

4 black shell led down lights on a switch✅

Half bulkhead trimmed, with under seat storage flap still useable✅

2x twin usb/type c charging sockets to bulkhead✅

2x twin usb/type c charging sockets to quarters✅

Fully sound deadened and insulated✅

New ply lining hand scribed hand crafted✅

Sealed and taped to ensure a professional conversion✅

4 rear Tie downs re added✅

Barn door panels screwed and hidden not using chocolate/furniture blocks✅

Factory led courtesy lights refitted✅

 One piece roof panel ✅

Oversized sliding door panel with cut out for opening window with farmed structure behind to give it some strength and to close the gap between the panel and the runners on the window, trimmed behind also so no wood can be seen through the glass ✅

3dg print full access panel kit in there grey colour✅

2x opening windows supplied and fitted✅

Rear camera wire had been run across the roof and into a existing hole in the upper N/S structure of the van so we protected it taped it up and carpeted over it it’s now barely noticeable👀

Full size sliding door panel with window cut out, framed from the back to not only strengthen but to close the gap into the opening window slides for a neat tidy install, back side also trimmed so no wood is viable through the opening or window

2 lower quarter panels for a transit custom, being trimmed in smoke carpet, all returns have relief cuts in and once wrapped all edges trimmed back and neatened up for the completed finish

We always draw round our flooring onto the backside of the altro flooring adding around half an inch to get it something like and then cut it in once it’s laid in the van, all panels are sealed in to prevent any squeaks/rattles and also gives the panel a drum sound affect just little things that make us stand out from the rest💯💯

All wooden panels sanded around edges and corners this adds a rounded edge which allows for the carpet to wrap around nicely and doesn’t cause any sharpe edges that can damage the carpet🪚⚒️💯

This van came to us after the owner recently purchased it from a dealer it had already had windows fitted and some form of poorly crafted conversion in the rear. The customer had bought this van to tow the caravan and to take the grandchildren away so we built him a van that suits his needs📸

The rear boot section we just used what was already in the van but shortened it and made it work behind our conversion all we did was carpet the rear of the bulkhead. It’s only a boot space but they may return to have the boot area done properly and to a standard to match the front📸

These seats, slide in the rails, fold flat, recline and fully remove all very easily and are a very comfortable seat option💺
