‼️PLEASE RESPECT OUR TEAM‼️
Yesterday evening one of our Customer Assistants went to clean the toilets in Evelix service station, Dornoch as part of their daily routine and found human excrement smeared across the wall.
Sadly this is not an isolated incident. This sort of behaviour is becoming more and more common in all of our sites and is happening in Retail environments all across the country daily.
We want to be honest about how difficult this is for our team.
Being a Customer Assistant in Retail is a hard job. Our team deal with difficult and challenging situations on a daily basis whilst handling every other eventuality that arises from early morning till late at night. They do it with professionalism and a smile day in and day out but this sort of behaviour has a big impact on a Customer Assistants morale.
We work hard to provide clean toilet facilities that are cleaned and service regularly for everyone to use we do that because we care about our customers. All we ask is that our facilities and our people are treated with the same respect in return.
